Needing Christmas ideas for my husband!

This is what I’ve been hinting at for a while

Cologne, a new watch, tickets to his favorite team, a new grill, seat covers for his car, floor mats, automatic car starter.

What about a nice cologne or a voucher for a nice restaurant.

I’m probably going to get my husband some of his favorite wax bars and some more car bars along with tools, and I’ll find something that I can say is from our kids.

He’s a car guy? Get a hotel room and tickets to a car show and just give them to him at Christmas. Not sure where you are at but there is The Rod Run in April in Pigeon Forge. I’m sure there are other big car to dos near you!

What does he like to do outside of work? I’m all about giving experiences/time over tangible things.

Movie gift cards, a weekend trip get away, concert tickets.

I got my husband a key chain thingy… "I love you for who you are, but that dick sure is a bonus!":joy::joy::joy::joy:

My mechanics hubby needs nothing either.
I got him a personalized pocket knife and wallet

Get him some nice colonge after shave would be nice my husband liked Calvin Klein

A nice leather bill fold. a bracelet with his name engraved on it or a nice necklace he probably wouldn’t wear it when he’s working but it would be nice to wear on a night out

Ancestry DNA kit. He’ll love it.

Most car guys after rockers too and like guns so maybe a new gun or find a concert that he would enjoy and get tickets

Gun, watches, tickets to concerts or sporting events, electric massager

These are all things I have gifted my hubby. He loved it

An experience! A date for laser tag, go-karting, whitewater rafting, snow tubing, bowling, amusement park, indoor water park or pool, a favorite restaurant, bar, ice cream place or food truck. Go as a family or make it a special dad & kid/s time. Bonus points for getting a surprise guest (friend, parent, local person he admires) to meet you there.

Or tickets to a play, comedy show, concert or sporting event. It can be a local band at a local venue, a college game, performance or other event, or tickets & snacks at a high school performance, game, match, or meet. Bonus points if it’s a school he attended or sport he played, a band with friends in it or one that will play his fave tunes/requests, &/or the date includes one of his buds from back in the day. Get him to tell your kid/s about when he played (sport, instrument, singing, acting) & teach or coach them to do something (sing a line of a song, say a dramatic line from a play, throw a ball, yell “touchdown!”, play air guitar, say a dramatic line, swing a toy bat, master a dance move, tell a joke, whatever his talents/hobbies are).

Or a “coupon” you make for doing something together: fishing, a picnic in the park with his favorite pastry for dessert, hike to a waterfall or lookout, a day trip to see or tour something: civil war/other historic site, quirky museum, iconic monument, corn maze, chocolate factory, auto assembly plant, the world’s largest whatever, or anything interesting in your area. Or a tour & tasting at a brewery, winery, distillery or cidery.

Or a coupon for a personal service: foot or head massages, breakfast in bed, one “get out of a chore free” card, a “free” night out with the boys & $20 for beer, or an Uber for you two or him & a friend to a casino & $40 to blow on gambling if he would be responsible about it.

Or give him a “surprise” coupon, contact old friends or family members he hasn’t seen or talked to in a while & get them to call him at specific times when he’s free (and make sure he’s available to pick up). Or arrange a visit to or from an old friend/favorite family member who lives out of town.

Or a coupon for a surprise on a specific day & spring for delivery pizzas & drinks for his crew/workplace, but coordinate with the boss/es first.

Or find that job he’s been meaning to tackle (clean out the garage, fix the sink, build that shed, paint that room, assemble that IKEA thing) and either pay to get a pro to do it or make it a party with friends to get it done. No alcohol until it’s complete though. Give him a note with a plastic wand & say it will magically get the job done.

If you earn money, offer to pay his car tax, fishing license fee, hunting permit, some other expense you can afford that he usually pays. You can get cash & fold it in fun shapes in a box with a note, or elaborately wrap a box with a note & a little toy car, fish, deer, gun, or whatever represents what you’re doing.

Or arrange for a professional family portrait, have your kid/s make plaster handprint casts, decorate an “I love Daddy” T shirt: write with liquid embroidery from a craft store, or put pix of the kids faces on transfer paper & iron on, or get them to put their handprints in permanent paint on the T or sweatshirt from the craft store.

A fun coupon book with favors

Get him a gift card then he can get what he wants

If you have kids make something. Hand prints. Pictures of kids in handmade frames

I’m getting my husband a beard care kit. Since he feels the need to keep a beard now :woman_facepalming:

I got my husband “thanks for all the orgasms”- mug.
