My old daughter turn 7 soon. Thinking of birthday gifts. I don’t want to buy junk. What popular right now? I would love to buy clothes but she has way to many. She hard to fit because of her size. She a farm girl at heart . However a girly girl as well.

MP3 player or any sort of passes( swimming, zoo, amusement parks) maybe a spa day?
Pretty much everything that is “popular” at any given time is junk. Buy for longevity. Look into a Yoto player. My girls are 9, 6, and 2 and love them.
I like experience gifts, like a trip to the zoo, or a cooking class you could do together based on her interests.

Art set, tickets to a play or something, books, a new bike, scooter, roller skates
A bath bomb kit might be fun for her I make homemade bath bombs myself and my 7 year old son and 5 year old daughter love making them with me and it’s just a fun bonding project we do together I also let them help me when I make my home made shea butter chapstick
I would suggest getting her things that will get her outside, like bike or scooter, I’d stay away from electronics except maybe a music player or something like that
My advice is to not go with something just because it’s popular.
Popularity with toys fade in and out like any other trend.
Your best bet is to think about her and her interests first. Consider what you can afford, what you’re willing to spend, and what she’ll get the most use out of.
My youngest has been super into transformers for the last couple years.
We bought him a new bumblebee bed set and bumblebee pjs. My mom bought him a stuffed bumblebee.
He LOVED it.
My oldest is getting more difficult because he’s getting older. He’s not so much into toys but he’s not quite old enough for other things either. I know we’re planning to add to his series of dogman and bad guys. I’m also considering an mp3 player because he’s been enjoying music more.
