Should I be concerned my infant sleeps through the night?

Seeking advice on 3-month-olds sleeping habits.

So my three month old just slept from 10p to 6a (8hrs) without feeding!! Should I be worried or thankful?? Is it because she’s going through a growth spurt? I only ask this because she was already sleeping all day from 1p to 8p only waking up to eat. Now she just did an 8hr stretch with no food?! Is that okay, or should I be worried?? I almost want to take her temp only in case, but i try limiting how often i do just because she hasn’t shown any signs up until now. Help and advice, please?

Shes fine. Babies at 3 months will eat when they are hungry. It could be a growth spurt and she just needs more sleep. She will let you know when shes hungry

If she feeding ok threw out the day and taking what she should be she fine my 14 weeks old does it occasionally enjoy your 8 hours it will only happen once in a blue moon xx

Be thankful. Baby wont starve themselves. If baby gets hungry, it will wake up and let you know.

As long as she is still giving wet diapers regularly, you have nothing to worry about

My 3 mo does the same thing and has been for about a month. She’s alright, and like others are saying they will definitely let you know when they are hungry

Both my kids slept through the night early on. 1 1/2 months for my daughter and 1 month for my son. Formula fed babies tend to sleep through the night with less feedings. If she’s eating throughout the day and soiling diapers like normal, let her sleep.

Sleep and grow we used to say .

Shes fine, be thankful when she sleeps

She’s fine. Only advise is if you’re breastfeeding, pump a few times to keep your supply.

As long as your little has wet diapers enjoy the time for you to get some rest. If there are other signs like not eating at all or fever, etc, call your pediatrician and speak to who is on call.:raised_hands:t3:

Nice… enjoy the sleep.

Be thankful. I can’t wait till mine sleeps that long lol!

My 2 week old wakes once through night but he is over 10 lbs and I make 4 o a feeding with my breasts

Enjoy it. The four month sleep regression is coming.

My daughter slept that long around that age, but it isn’t consistent sometimes she wakes up several times, sometimes sleeps all night. She is now almost a year and a half and sometimes sleeps 10 hours, sometimes wakes up 2-3 times

My kid is 3 months and he does that and he is fine!! Hes also a little chunker lol. My pediatrician always tells me, they will tell you when they want something, so unless they look lethargic or deep down you feel somthing is wrong like they arent acting normal to you always take them in. They may also be hitting a growth spurt which triggers them to rest more. All 3 of my kids did this and they are all fine. Dont worry

Be thankful alot sleep through the night at that age , mine did

Thankful…very very thankful

Mine did that once or twice early on. As long as the baby is gaining weight, let them sleep!

Be thankful! It’s a blessing!

I’d wake her and feed her during the 1pm to 8pm sleep and let her sleep the full night.

My son was the same. From birth till about 4-5 months all he did was sleep lol it was amazing. I wish I could go back to those days lol

Generally, they will let you know when they’re hungry. Rule in my house was: you wake em, you take em.

My 2 month has done this since birth lol

My oldest daughter slept like that, and believe me it don’t last long.

Mine has been sleeping through the night since about 8 weeks, she goes 10/11 hours between her last feeding of the night and first feed of the morning. She eats before she goes to bed…I think feel thankful lol

Enjoy it and be thankful!

Mine has been sleeping from 9pm-8am since she was like 3 weeks old. I was lucky and still am so far as shes 5 months and sleeps through the night. My almost 4 yo is a different story though lol
