Should I get the Covid vaccine while pregnant?

My niece got hers while pregnant and she’s fine and so is baby. She is due in late October. Everybody’s body is different. Research it. Ask questions. Do what is right in your heart for yourself and your baby.

I’m vaccinated and just tested positive today. I’m the sickest I’ve been. My son and SO both tested positive, they are unvaccinated and are barely displaying symptoms. Do what you feel is best for you!

I feel like this is a personal choice. I personally wouldn’t do it, but people need to do what they think is right when it comes to vaccines.

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and didn’t do it we don’t know what harm it can cause the baby

99% of these comments are ridiculous. This isn’t the place to ask for valid medical advice, and especially not from uneducated anti-sciencers. I work in a hospital, in a maternal fetal medicine (which is high risk obstetrics.)
Our maternal fetal medicine specialists (or perinatologists) have done their due diligence and THEY are the experts. They have recommended the vaccine over and over, and the only one you should be consulting to make this decision is your obstetrician. NOT Facebook.

DONT DO IT! They begged pregnant women in the beginning NOT to get it!!!

If you want it, wait until after your baby is out!!!

(Me personally - I will NEVER get it but that’s my choice :slightly_smiling_face: )

Please think about it and don’t rush your decision it is your body your choice but just remember it is an experiment, Docters are getting paid massively, this is one of the biggest resets of the world today and the CDC have said children under 18 and pregnant/nursing shouldn’t

No don’t do it…some women have lost their babies after receiving it…people really need to do some independent research…this is not traditional vaccine…it hasn’t been tested or approved…they are using us as the lab rats…any time information is being suppressed you should question why…and any time something is being pushed on you…you should again ask why…

Speak with your health care provider and go through pros and cons. It’s your body, ain’t no two people the same. There are people for vaccines and people against, people who take side effects and those who don’t. We all too often here of the bad yet rarely of the good.

Not FDA approved and still in testing, but ultimately your decision.

Im 32weeks had both of mine and the only side effect i had was a sore arm for a few days and like a 24hr bug after the 2nd and baby girl is healthy she will be here in 6weeks because im also a type 1 diabetic, but its up to you if you get it or not dont let anyone push you into it if you dont want to get it untill baby is born

DO NOT DO IT!! 43+% of women who got the covid vaccine while pregnant either had a miscarriage, still birth, or micropremies. I don’t think anyone should get this vaccine when over 45000 people have died as a direct result of the vaccine.

My doctor said they would back whatever decision I made but she could tell me that there was little to no info on possible effects right now on baby and pregnancy so they couldn’t tell me one way or the other what would be best. She said while nursing would be completely fine. So since I stay home with our other kids and work from home, I decided to wait until after I deliver to get mine. If I worked outside the home or in a high contact type job, I probably would have gone ahead. But in my situation, I’m pretty able to limit within reason chances of exposure and still mask up when out in public and distance.

Currently 35wks pregnant and I got fully vaccinated with Pfizer by 20wks and had no symptoms other than a sore arm each time

I had the Pfizer while pregnant, have a healthy baby and no complications so far.

I wouldn’t. Ya they maybe have new studies out about what they know RIGHT NOW, But what about years from now? How it could affect you and your child possibly in the future. I’m not typically anti-vaccine but I won’t be getting it till there’s more long term studies

I got the Pfizer vaccine last Sunday at 27 weeks. I do not regret my decision. For me, the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks of the vaccine. Im happy to know I’m protected. My son is back in public school so we have more of a chance of being exposed. Pregnancy makes us high risk, especially in our third trimester. I did a lot of my own research on pregnant women getting the vaccine that made me comfortable in my decision and I’ve heard of so many pregnant women getting it in my mom groups so it was good to hear all their good experiences too. It seems like a lot of pregnant women are getting the Pfizer one, which is why I decided to get that one as well. All I had was a sore arm and little headache and that was it. For me, I feel like it’s totally worth it. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

At the end of the day it’s your choice. If you don’t feel comfortable doing it then dont…

im in the same boat…with this delta variant going around im tempted to just go get it…but im still reluctant tbh…im 33 weeks and I had covid in jan. and it was TERRIBLE. I honestly think if i had another bad case right now i could die. But im still on the fence …maybe just me being stubborn or stupid IDK. The dad dosent want me to get it so i think that is a big factor for me not going yet. Im just praying i dont regret it:(

Hell no. It’s not been out long enough to be even tested and proven safe. No way in hell I would take a risk of losing my child because of it.

Here’s a follow up question to the one above. Did anyone get covid while pregnant, and if so, were there any adverse effects on you or your child? I haven’t seen many studies about what it might do to your baby and now I’m curious.

This is clearly a personal decision and you’ll be getting personal answers. Obviously there have been zero studies on unborn, newborn, toddlers, etc. Under no circumstances should you feel any pressure one way or another from anyone.

Don’t put your body through ANYTHING that makes you feel uncomfortable when you’re pregnant. If you have reservations then there’s a good reason for that. I don’t think I would have got it if I was pregnant. It doesn’t make you anti vax, it doesn’t make you a bad person, just keep you and your baby safe and that’s what matters x

I got Phizer shots in my 2nd trimester. My arm was sore for 4 days. Was very tired  that was the worst of it. Just take 2-4 days off if you are working to sleep it off.

I’m not pregnant but I did ask that question before I got the jab and the professor told me that they were advising for women not to get in the first trimester, but it is your choice in the end whether or not you get it now or wait. If you feel the Dr is pushing to get it and you are unsure, get as many professional opinions as you can and want. As they don’t know what is going to happen long term, that is all I can suggest

I’ve heard of 2 very far along moms being pressured by their dr so they got it and ended up losing their babies to blood clots in the umbilical cord. Obviously they didn’t say it was connected but personally I wouldn’t take the chance

Looks at the VAERS site. There are lots of women who have lost their baby after the shot.

I got my covid vaccine when I was 4 months pregnant because I was going to be traveling to see my family in California. I did get a few symptoms after my second vaccine ….chills , fatigue, and body aches that all started at 4am and I just slept through the whole day took it easy and rested by 10pm (the day after I got the vaccine) I was already feeling better . Now I am 7 months pregnant and went to all kinds of theme parks in California surrounded by thousands of people and non of us got covid :pray:t4:

I’m pregnant and I’m just getting over Covid. I’d rather take my risks getting sick again then get the vaccine. Covid isn’t fun but I’d rather deal with it naturally then pump my body full of stuff. But then again I believe in my immune system and natural causes.

It’s a personal decision, but I got the vaccine at 26 weeks, and have since given birth to a healthy baby boy. I have asthma, and weighing out risk, it was the best choice for me.

I got the first half of the vaccine and the whole left side of my face and left arm lost all feeling and dropped like bells palsy. My sister was hospitalized from it when her oxygen levels went to 67. I don’t recommend the vaccine but it’s also your choice in the end. I refuse to get the second half.

I was getting a lot of pressure to get vaccinated while pregnant. There have been zero studies on the affect on fetuses and babies. I really think it’s important to practice caution with this and opt to allow baby to develop without introducing an unknown like that. I’m really glad I did. We aren’t even supposed to take ibuprofen, caffeine, arnica… tons of things while pregnant… wait until after

If you really want to get the vaccine. I would wait until baby is here. Just in case of side affects

Has anyone had both vaccines and got pregnant??

I just got mine. 35 weeks . Only a sore arm

I haven’t seen any studies yet I suggest waiting till they’re out then making your decision

My gra daughter was told not to get it. Just one.

I cant help but think that these people that got it while pregnant now have a hybrid baby.

A pregnant YouTube I watch decided to get it & filmed her experience! my experience getting the COVID Vaccine! - YouTube

In my opinion I would pray to God for an answer.

Please get the vaccine . You & your baby will be safe.:pray:t2:

I would never rely on a Facebook comments feed for medical advice, just sayin’

I got pfizer in my first trimester, just had an ultrasound today, and baby girl is 5lbs 8oz perfectly healthy. I have had 0 side effects either.

Go look for Stew Peters on Twitter. He has many qualified doctors telling you things that you won’t hear any where else. Then decide.

I am also pregnant and have been looking at a lot of the available research to decide whether or not to get the vaccine. Based on the research Pfizer is recommended because pregnant women are more likely to end up in ICU and more likely to die as a result of contracting the illness due to decreased immune function while pregnant. Of the available studies there were no increased risks to the baby for women who had the immunisation while pregnant. However as COVID is only new, there are no longitudinal studies, studying the kids growth. This is purely looking at risk to the unborn baby and complications at birth

It’s an experimental gene therapy, so i would never! There are NO safety studies proving it’s safe for pregnant women. There have been women, even doctors who have gotten the shot and their babies ended up dying before birth. It’s not worth the risk. Covid has a 99.7% survival rate.

There is also the risk of blood clots heart inflammation and death. My advice us not to take an experimental rushed mrna injection where the public are the trials.

HELL NO! It’s not tested or FDA approved. No way I would risk it !!

I sure wouldn’t get it Even if I wasn’t pregnant. A lot of women who were pregnant had miscarriages after getting this shot! Don’t do it!!

I would suggest you try and research for yourself the side effects both common and severe and possibly read the insert on what is actually in the ‘vaccine’ and decide if you want that in your baby.

What’s the point in even giving getting the covid shot. there’s already been people who have had the shot and fully vaccinated that are turning up positive for covid like seriously what is even the point. Just useless sheep.

In my country pregnant women aren’t being given the vaccine. Not enough research or something like that :woman_shrugging:

Multiple of my friends, coworkers, and family friends all got theirs while pregnant and no problem at all.:sparkles:

Honestly, I wouldn’t listen to people who are uneducated on medicine and science. People look Google and think they know what they’re talking about instead of trusting people who studied years upon years for this.

It’s supposed to be safe.
Everyone is at risk for blood clots due to many things we put in our bodies, including vaccines, birth controls, and common over the counter medicines.

If you don’t feel comfortable, don’t do it… but if you trust your dr, go for it.

With the vaccine, many are saying it’s a risk…. Well it’s also a risk of you getting covid and ending up in a ventilator while pregnant…. Sooooo take your pick of actual risk or speculation risk. :woman_shrugging:t2:

Also, side note- Pfizer reported that their vaccine is 88% effective against the new strain of Covid, delta. :sparkles:

Don’t get the vaccine period.

I wouldn’t have it.
This is an experimental medical procedure. Top doctors around the world advise not to have it if pregnant.
You do know that GP’s receive money for every shot they give to people?

Absolutely no ! I will try to find the report that said 82% of pregnant women miscarried after receiving the jab.

I heard that pregnant women that get the vaccine pass on antibodies to their child. Many of my coworkers got it during their pregnancy this passed March and they are fine.

I would not take the vaccine while pregnant its to risky. You never know what will happen

I personally know women who got it and lost their children. Yes, this tragedy may be totally unrelated, also may not be. I’ve had multiple doctors tell me point blank, obviously they got it and they believe in the science of it and were not pregnant either, but that pregnant or not they could not tell me 100 percent that it is safe because simply no one knows if it is yet. No one knows the effects years down the line for us or for the babies. And it’s not that it’s because it is this specific vaccine, but because that’s how new vaccines always work. So it is totally up to you and what you feel is best to do for you and your baby. No one else can or should make that decision for you. There have been zero studies on the things we are wanting to know and that’s because there can’t be any yet… you’re going to get very different answers but please do not let anyone shame or judge you either way. Good luck and congratulations! :heartpulse:

Fan answer: ask your Dr.

Well. I am 8 months pregnant, I got my shots back in May/June. I’ve never had Covid and the shot was no worse then an itchy bug bite.
I highly recommend getting the vaccine.
