I work on the postpartum/Nicu floor and see sooo many babies get re-admitted due to illnesses such as this :disappointed_relieved: it’s heartbreaking to watch those babies & their families ! Please consider before going to family gatherings  https://www.babygaga.com/baby-neonatal-herpes-kiss-hospital/?utm_content=buffer3066b&utm_medium=Social-Distribution&utm_source=MM-FB-P&utm_campaign=MM-FB-P

I would not go at all!! Better safe than sorry

Yes you are over reacting this must be your 1st baby the baby will be fine

Don’t take him he will get sick he is too small.

You are recovering that’s all you have to say. No I would not take a two week old baby out in the cold weather around people who could be ill.

Stay home enjoy him.

Nope. First 6 weeks are no contact. RSV is so dangerous to babies. Only allow close family members who you know 100% are vaccinated and will respect the no kissing rule that keeps your baby from being exposed to herepes symplex, which could kill them, in your home.
