Should I worry about being anti-social?

Was wondering if anyone has random episodes of being antisocial?

Like one week I just want to talk the heads off people and go out and talk ect then for a few days like the past 3 days for me, being unable to go out, talk…answer the phone or door and feeling very down, I have no idea why cause usually I’m not like that and I’m usually very sociable I just get random times probably twice a month where I don’t want to talk.

That’s how I am when my bipolar 2 is acting up. When I’m in a mania I’m really social, and when I go the other way I lock myself in my room and don’t talk to anyone.

I never wanna talk to people, I dont like answering my door, I never answer my phone if it rings, I don’t like parties or large groups. I hate how loud people are and how people sometimes act like no one else matters in public spaces. I just cant. Lol. I work in customer service, so I deal with the public every day for 8-10 hours. Once my shift is over…om over it. Lol. There are random times I wanna see people or go out…then I remember why I dont like it. Lol. I’m cool with my bestie or if there are like 4 people lol. More then 10, I’m not going.

I am an introvert. I just go to the mall and get exhausted. Being around people, and talking to them, is exhausting to me. I need at least 3 days of not going out, just to recover. It sounds like those times you need to be alone, is just a recovery and recharge time for you.

I have a chemical imbalance as well & I go through these phases of needing more for my life including people & then there will be days of just sadness & not caring to respond to anything

See your doctor. There is help for this if it is bipolar, also he will refer you to a professional who will diagnose it or eliminate it and try to find what else it could be. So, go to doctor.

Yes… I get worn out from people… Its like they suck the life from me… But i have always valued my alone time…

And download the eve app, you can look at the cycle scope and it will tell you when cortisol is high, etc.

Different times of the month when our hormonal cycle is happening can alter our emotions. Ovulation time mid month I feel I could talk to everyone then at least four days before my period want to shut off from everyone. Could be a possibility. Maybe keep a diary.
