Who gets up with the baby at night? I am exhausted, but my husband constantly tells me, “it’s my job,” and my baby would “prefer I got up”. He does go to work at 7 am, but our baby wakes multiple times. I feel like he should get up at least once.
I think there is no rule. Personally I always got up because my husband worked and had to get up early and I did not. I don’t think that’s its “your job.” I think raising children is never just one parents job if both are around to share the load.
