Should my infant be listening to loud music via headphones?

Hi,

My husband plays drums :drum: and loud musics, and he insists to put headphones on my 5 month 3 week old baby’s ears while he plays the :drum: so that baby can listen to it. I am worried and I told him my concerns but he says I am simply acting over worried & rude and not letting him do what he wants. So I had to allow him once. Should I allow him again?

I don’t think I understand. If he’s playing the music why does he need headphones to listen to it? Is it noise canceling earmuffs? To protect the babies ears? If he’s playing music through the headphones then I think it would be okay as long it was a lower volume.
