Question to moms out there who got the nexplanon. I received it in April and started bleeding for the first time since giving birth November of 2018. I started on Mothers day and haven’t stopped at all since then. I called my ob office today and they told me I need to do a hormone ring for 4 weeks and that itd reboot my cycle. During the bleeding this whole time I’ve lost weight unexpectedly. Bloody noses, headaches that dont go away, so much more. I picked up the ring today and it says not to use while breastfeeding. I am currently breastfeeding though. Has anyone else had this issue? If you have had they suggested the same method to fix it? Just needed opinions. I’m always so cautious.

Ur body is rejecting it. U need to have that removed.
I have it and this is my second time and I’ve never had this happen nor heard of it. I’m surprised they told u to do that since breastfeeding. I would be calling back and telling that u r and see what they say. But honestly if it was me I’d be having them take it out bcuz that’s a lot of blood loss and a lot of other stuff going on. I know it affects each person different.
I had this problem as well on it, I had for 8months and bleed for 6&1/2 months, before I convince someone to take it out, your body is rejecting it, I had lost so much blood,that I needed a blood transfusion, it messed me up bad. Be careful on it.
Get it removed! I had it for for 8 months and bled every single day! You can become anemic and they were shocked I didnt. They told me it would regulate and never did. Its dangerous

Best thing i did was have it removed!!! Messed up my hormones terribly!
