So I have the Paragard IUD and have had it since December 2018. I consistently got my period between the 24-29th of each month without fail. Well as of today I still haven’t gotten my period for the end of July. I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago and it was negative. The only off symptom I have is I’ve been eating alittle more but I figured that was regular hormones. No nausea, no headaches, no changes in my breasts or discharge. I’ve even had slight cramps this passed whole week but still no period. Has anyone else with an IUD experienced something like this? Even after having one for 7+ months?

I had mine for 9 months and got pregnant with it and had to have it removed.
My daughter had nothing but problems with the iud. Caused her so much pain and she had cysts on her ovaries because of it and had to have it removed in the emergency room. Her periods were her irregular as well I would never recommend an iud.

Paragard has worked great for me. I’ve had more than one. Sometimes I have very light periods. I doubt it has to do with the IUD. If it continues and is concerning you call your ob
I have had the same issue except I have the IUD called Skyla I have had it for now passed 2 years and usually I had them consistently every month from the 26th to the 3rd but starting after May I haven’t been having one and did the same took pregnancy tests nothing has changed much but still comes back negative. Not sure what the issue is with it.
