Any mamas prescribed procardia due to preterm labor? What was your experience with this? I just got prescribed this but am iffy about taking it due to the lack of research on humans with this medication.

Me. I had steroid shots given to help his lungs develop, I was 24 weeks when mine started. At 27 weeks I had steroid shots and put on procardia, I still had another labor scare on Thanksgiving at 29 weeks they stopped it with meds and kept me a week or so. My son was born at 36 weeks (waters broke and they let us deliver) he was healthy, good weight and home immediately

I had procardia with my son at 32 weeks. It never stopped my contractions so I stopped taking it after a week. He went to full term.
