I work on the road, and leave my one year old son with my mother at home. I come home every few months for a month or so. I feel like I'm doing a bad job as a dad, am i?
I mean I wouldn’t say it’s ideal to be apart from your little for so long at a time, but the good thing is he’s still very little and won’t remember when he gets older. You’re also leaving him with someone you trust & you’re providing. I’ve heard there are different companies that offer in state travel so you don’t have to be gone as long, that might be something to look into as he gets older.
