I would try it. I had a csection and will be having a vbac with my next child. If they are monitoring you and something goes wrong they can do another csection. I think that’s awesome that your doctor is supportive! It’s rare that doctors are supportive of vbacs
My sister had her twins vbac and said it was so much easier.
1 csection 6 years ago and two vbacs in 2016 and 2018
You have a proven pelvis.
You have a willing doc which is special.
Recovery time is better w/ vag delivery—–> you know that.
You will be monitored in labor closely.
I see many successful VBACS At the hospital I work at. I’m a Labor Nurse.
Personally, my first was C-Section and my following three were vag.
Ultimately YOU have to do what you feel is best because YOU write your story.
This is making me feel so much better about trying for a VBAC. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and 1 and Second was Vaginal. 3 was emergency C-Section
My first was c-section but 2nd, 3rd, 4th were VBAC. Successful with 2nd and 3rd. 4th had complications. Recovery is faster with VBAC.
My mum had 2 successful vbac after a section. The first being just 2 years after her section you can always try
I’ve had 3 successful vbacs after a csection… no complications, but they do monitor you closely if any are to arise… the experience is definitely worth it
You should be able to. My friend has had 3 sons, all c section, i forgot as to why, but then she had a 4th son vaginal with no complications
Nothing wrong with C sections. You’re a mom no matter what. Be the best you can be ,
Successful VBAC 5 weeks ago Best decision I’ve ever made!!! Amazing recovery time, immediate skin to skin, immediate and easier breastfeeding (if you wish to), less risk of infection (c-sections are common, but they ARE surgeries after all and they do carry risks).
I can’t tell you how happy I am for giving birth naturally the second time around. Don’t get me wrong, my c-section was a very easy one and I had no pain at all, but vaginal birth was even easier altogether. Plus, I was so happy not to have to worry about getting accidentally kicked by my toddler on the incision site
Also, VBAC is an option because you’ve only had one c-section before. If you choose to go with a c-section this time, you probably won’t be given the choice of a vaginal birth with baby No. 4 (if you choose to have a fourth).
Congratulations and best of luck!
First born c section (7lb 12oz)

My mother had to have me via emergency C-section my cord was wrapped around my neck twice. But my brother and sister she birth vaginally after me
My first was vaginal. Second was an emergency cesarean. My third was a successful VBAC!
I was told id have to deliver at a hospital with a ready to go surgery staff in case anything bad happens like my scar ripping open on the uterus.
