Thoughts on the baby name Ragnar?

This is THE exact reason i didn’t tell anyone until after the birth when it doesn’t matter what anyone says because it’s done. I don’t like the name, but I don’t like a lot of names. Y’all are the ones who have to live with it :woman_shrugging:

I like it but I like different names like this so…

And totally misspelled Ragnar!!! Lmaooo

Maybe a middle name, but I wouldn’t use it as a first name.

Find out what the name means and try to envision him as an executive being addressed by it. And does it rhyme with any bad hooks, such as Ragnar the bagnar!

No just no….so many ways that would get your child teased… I truly do not mean to sound rude or harsh try seeing their personality when you hold your baby the first time you will know

I would worry about the child and bullies not your mother in law or you picking a name to spite her. Isn’t all really about the child?

How do you think it would feel to a child to live with a name his mother thought was “not that bad?” You don’t have to answer to the name all your life, but they will.

It would be a no for me.

He’ll be teased in school

My friends parents dog is named Ragnar.

It’s a good name for teasing. I taught school for 29 years and yeah, they’ll tease him (or her)!

Names like Steve Connie Mike Susie Karen each one has a special reason for being named that especially also when we chose their middle names love them all and also all the grandkids and great-grandkids much love

I LOVE IT!!! It’s fantastic. Ragnar is a bad ass. I love it!
