We played games and whoever won got baby type gifts and was suppose to give to the mom to be
yes I wouldn’t expect a goodie bag. Thank you is enough. although you could hand them thank you card attached to a gourmet candy can if it is soon.
Here in the Deep South we buy 3-4 gifts, then we play games for them. You can find baby shower games on Pinterest

I made “diapers out of washcloths and put snacks in them as a favor. Everyone loved them and it was something they could use
3 different candy bars in 3 different dippers in the microwave for about 30 seconds, they have to guess what candy bar are in each diaper, fun game
You can do party favors but no baggies. Showers are for adults , not kids in my opinion .
I made chocolate suckers for the guests for favors. White with pink or blue . I had a sucker mold

You csn also have like a candy bar there. If you know the sex you csn have all blue candies like jelly bellies,etc. Or if its a girl then pink. They even make pink and blue m and m s
