What age is too old to have a baby?

I’m about to be 35 and I’m 25 weeks pregnant. I have a 3 year old son. I’m wanting one more baby after this one. Am I too old to have another baby??

I had my last child at 38

Not too old if you want it.

Never too old if you have good health n the energy, I had my children young, my last was at 30.
I personally couldn’t do it again, but that’s my own preference.

I just had my final baby at 39 I know some that are in there 40s

I had twins at 39. Just a little FYI. After 35 your chance of having twins increases quite a bit.

Depends on you and your health. I had my last at 32 and couldn’t imagine having one later than that. My first was at 25. I wish I would have had both in my 20s.

That is a topic to discuss with your doctor in my opinion.

It’s not that black and white. I think it depends on the individual circumstances. Im

I know people who are just now starting their family’s in mid 30s I think that’s actually pretty normal. I mean shit I wish I was older had mine early 20s and didn’t get to have my adult hood without being a mom first ya know ? That’s your choice. But don’t be letting someone tell you you’re too old.

Why are these questions coming up. No you are not too old for heaven’s sake. I had my first at 34. Many have babies into their 40s. Do what is best for you and your family and talk to your obgyn. I won’t be able TTC until I am 41 due to kidney medicine I am on. You’ll be just fine.

I had my first child at age 27 and my second child at 41.

I’m 39 and giving birth in 22 days. :woman_shrugging:t4:

I had my first at 24 and my second at 34. I so want more, but parenting in my 30s is A LOT different than my 20s. Nobody can tell you, you’re too old. That is a decision you’d have to make fully on your own. It’s your life, live it on your terms

The only the I could see is it possibly being “high risk” for age but honestly if you’re healthy you here should be no issues

It just depends on the person and there health. I know people are having kids later and later. Me personally if I don’t have #5 by the time I turn 35 here in a few years, I’m not having any more.

Girl I had my FIRST and ONLY when I was 38… im now 42 w a 3 yr old
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Nope not too old. I’m about to turn 38 and am pregnant

I’ll be 39 on the 27th with a 20, 15, & 10 year old & 1 on the way.

It’s just a matter of your health & reproductive. We were trying for the past 4yrs & I had almost given up thinking it was no longer in the cards & I was so surprised to find out recently that I’m expecting

I just had my 6th one she’s 4 months old and I was 37 when I had her

I want 1 more. I will be 35 in September. I had my first son when I was 32. I want to be done with having kids by the time I’m 40.

My friend - my mom had me at 21 and the baby at 41 - 10 of us in total - my Tias both had babies at 43 & 44 - trust n believe - the Creator will decide :v:t4::heart:

I just had my 4th at 35, we wouldn’t mind one more!

If you are healthy and have the means to have one more …. Do it

I’ve just had my last at 40. Not planned and I’ve health issues so wasn’t great.i think depends on your health and how easy pregnancy is on you I had to have my 1st c section and had gestational diabetes. Also baby low birth weight…

There are complications due to age and birth effects from what I read

I think it depends on health, go for it. You can’t really go on finances, you make it work. I had my first at 18, young, single and nothing to my name, I made it work, had my 2nd, married, 30… I wish I would of had my 2nd alot sooner but hey, we make it work.

I had my last at 45. Other than the energy level (or lack thereof on my part) it’s amazing and he’s perfect :hugs: his siblings are adults, but his nieces and nephew are more like siblings, and they spend a lot of time together

No, as long as you’re healthy…

Not too old but energy levels drop as you age. Your ‘give a fuck’ diminishes. Sure, you’ll still be relatively young when you give birth. But then you’ve got how many years ahead of you of having to give 100% of everything you have into raising the child, making school lunches, attending after school sports, assisting with homework, being restricted and stuck during school terms. It’s a lot of work. I’m well over it. I’m 43. I’ve been ‘going to school’ for about 15 years now and I’ve still got 13 years of it to go!! I’ll be near on 60 before I get a break. And by then my eldest will probably have children! No. Just no.
