My daughter is in third grade . She’s constantly not putting effort in to her school work. She is constantly failing math tests ,i have her in tutoring along with working with her on reading and math most nights . Her teacher assessed her in group work and she got a 2 in effort and it said she didn’t participate as much as the other group members . She was a virtual learner for first grade ( disaster ) and second grade the school she went to ignored all my concerns. This year shes getting extensive help but i am worried about her effort and just lack of self discipline. If i dont read with her she doesn’t do it . Any suggestions?

We had a similar problem with our son and found out too late he was juvenile diabetic. His attitude was already formed.
