Probiotic. We used Gerber soothe formula and it had it in there. Also gas drops, sound machines and gripe water.

Gripe water saves us daily along with rubbing his belly

Gripe water always helped my daughter.

Gripe water was my go to as well as baby wearing as much as possible and around 2 months started a probiotic. Mommy’s bliss was out favorite

I got a babocush cushion for my son. I had never heard of it, but a mom had posted one for sale in a moms group, and i looked up what it was, and decided to buy it off her.
These are a pretty penny new, but was 100000% worth it for my baby. If you want to message me, i can answer any questions.

Get gaviscon powder from docs works amazing

Could be reflux n that’s uncomfortable for them

What formula? We changed my sons to nutrimagen, for cowlic. Worked wonders.

Switch formulas.
Use nutramigen.

We use probiotics, but the formula might be causing colic look into that, good luck!

I used gripe water and gas x in every bottle and alumentum formula! I wouldn’t switch the formula though until you talk to a pediatrician. They may have different suggestions

Nothing helped my kids. :disappointed: I had to ride it out.

So my 1 year old was colicky for his first 6 months. It was horrible and I feel for both of you. First of all swaddle, swaddle, swaddle. It was a lifesaver. Second we used white noise when trying to get him to sleep or calmed down. We used Womb sounds and it help him soooo much. You can find YouTube videos of womb sounds that go for hours. We also changed up his food. He was having a real hard time with my breast milk so we ended up switching him to a formula brand specifically for colic. Baby wearing helped him feel secure and he could hear my heartbeat. We did this during the day. Good luck momma!

Maybe your lottle one needs a light formula.

Gripe water. Works awesome

Similar to my daughter, we used gripe water and switched formulas, and switched again and again. Eventually had her allergy tested and got a long list of things she can’t have!

Allementum formula with gripe water and gas drops on a regular schedule, MAM brand bottles helped sooo much. And also maybe a chiropractor for reflux?? Baby chiropractors are awesome

Gas X I also use 2 ounces of warm water a pinch of sugar and a piece of peppermint candy and shake it up if you ever need a break message me and I’d be happy to watch him so you can get some rest

Switch formulas and talk to his pediatrician

I used pure peppermint oil mixed with 2 oz. of water. Just make sure it’s a bottle you don’t plan on using for formula or breastmilk.

My best friend used this for her babies and swears by it.

I feel for you. My daughter was like this. Turned out to be a milk allergy which the Dr wouldn’t admit too. Once I cut dairy out of my diet (breastfeeding) then hers the crying & vomiting reduced.

I remember hearing that infant massage helps. I feel bad for you. I hope you are getting some help. Take care of yourself as well.

Thats a call to your pediatrician :woman_facepalming:.

Don’t just switch formulas. Call your pediatrician. You and your ped know your child more than anyone on here. My daughter had to switch to Alimentum and ultimately be put on reflux medicine, but it took testing and a ton of me advocating for her. Also keep in mind that when you do switch formulas, it takes two weeks for the old formula to get out of baby’s system.

I had to make sure after every feed, my little one had to be upright (ish) position for at least 45 mins. When and if he started to fuss, the only way that I could calm him was to lay him face down across my fore arm and kinda bounce him. They make belly bouncers(vibrates) that help with this as well. While in my arm I placed a warm washcloth between my arm and his belly.

honestly nothing i tried helped my baby.If you can leave it with someone and get a break for a bit it will help you.Just lots of love and prayer,it’ll eventually pass❤️

When our son had colic, I think I vacuumed all day, and did a lot of laundry, also if you can find any kind of soothing music (like ocean sounds) try that. After about 6 weeks our son grew out of the colic. This was 23 years ago

They told me my daughter was colic but to find out she was lactose intolerant it’s a possibility once I switch to lactose formula she was a hole new baby

Warm water bag( bottle) lay it on the whole front side, wrap up in a fairly snug lightweight blanket, hold child with bag between you and him , pat & rub back side like burp then relax rub, switch back & forth…I had him across my legs of my chest, whatever angle he’s comfortable with, had 3 colicky kids, switched formula to goat milk, it worked!

Are you nursing? If so you need to look into an elimination diet to find out what’s bothering the baby.

Try no dairy at all, the vibrating chairs with a warm blanket helped mine

Warm wash cloth on tummy. Hold upright or do superman hold. Burb all the time.

Take him to a chiropractor. No joke!

Wrap heating pad with blanket and lay the baby across it on their stomach. Wrap the baby in blanket also. Keep it warm. My oldest had colic allot and this is what I did.

As a mom of 4 colicky babies (now all adults)1st and foremost, I’m sorry. Secondly, please don’t give your baby anything not cleared by your pediatrician! The last thing you want is to give them is something that can potentially hurt them more! Exercising their legs gently, rubbing their tummy, patience, and endless love. It took changing my diet when nursing and eliminating multiple food groups for me to figure out what was giving them colic. Each child it was something different. It’s heartbreaking to not know how make your baby comfortable. With my oldest I eventually switched to formula because I was to exhausted and couldn’t find a solution and she couldn’t gain weight. At some point, you’ll get this. Just remember how much you love your little one. above all don’t stop communicating with you medical providers, and don’t give up!

Gripewater and gas drops!!! It helped tremendously with my baby girl! Also if baby is throwing up a lot make sure baby is getting enough wet diapers!

Gripe water worked well for my colicky baby. I also massaged his tummy, bicycled his legs, and my mom got us a thing called “happi tummy” on Amazon. Basically was a warm thing that could be wrapped around his tummy

Check for any other symptoms, my baby started with colic, excessive crying, vomiting and mocus in poop… turned out to be alergic to protein in cows milk

All of mine where colicky gassy babies . I swore by gripe water and gas drops . I still to this day have gripe water and gas drops on hand and my youngest is a year and a half .

I definitely wouldn’t do as suggested above and give Gatorade. Way way way too much sodium. If he’s puking I’d suggest a check up just to rule out anything else, if you haven’t already. We use gripe water and Ovol Drops.

You could drive around see if that would help or I think it’s called gripe water

Gatorade in a flavor you think he will like. Lemon lime green apple or whatever mine liked lemon lime

Gripe water, mylicon, warm towel from dryer on belly, skin to skin, bicycling babys legs

Gripewater works wonders

Gripe water is amazing

My son had colic - nothing worked.Patience …

Cat nip buy it at drug store

Jenna Crouse thought of you

Rocking, swaying motion. Warm cloth on the belly and a massage. Position him upright for feeding and wait a few minutes after before laying him down on his back. Pump the legs gently up to the tummy. There is no magical solution, just figure out ways to provide some belly relief and comfort and keep discussing it with the dr.

My first child had colic. Nothing worked for her. I had to put her in a snuggle and vacuum all the time, I would put she in a baby seat and put in on the washer and dryer or put her car seat in our dump truck. These where the only things that worked for me.

How about get off Facebook and get to a peds doctor and follow their advice?? I dont think anyone here (or this face group mods) wants to be held liable for injury caused to your kid due to bad medical advise. I don’t understand why medical questions are allowed here

Have him checked for reflux

Gerber colic drops!!

Are you formula feeding or breastfeeding? If you are formula feeding you might want to try a different formula. If you are breastfeeding then it could be a number of things. It could be overactive letdown, oversupply, or it could be something you are eating that is effecting the baby. I would love to help if you have more questions you can come over to my instagram where I post breastfeeding tips every day.
