Low sex drive during pregnancy.
I’ve been an STHM for our beautiful daughter for almost two year’s now. All I do is taking care of our daughter, clean the house, and go to sleep and do it all over again the next day. I have No license, No car. We live in a tiny town with nothing in it. My SO work’s 2nd shift so he’s gone throughout the whole day. We hardly go out or do anything with each other anymore.
We are currently expecting; I’m 17 weeks along. The problem is I lack hard in wanting to have intercourse. It’s been well over two week’s since we have had sex, Yes we do have foreplay and whatnot, but I don’t know how to get myself in the mood to go any further than foreplay. I figured this would happen further along in my pregnancy not now. We also had a miscarriage the beginning of this year, so maybe that could be affecting my mood too. I don’t know.
Does anyone else have this problem this early into their pregnancy? If so, how’d you did you overcome it, or what did you do to make that come back?
I feel bad for my SO for me not wanting to have intercourse, He’s been very good with me about it, even though I know he wants it.

My husband has no sex drive. And I go into over drive lol. We fore play but it’s something that’s normal rather it’s you or him to either lose it or gain it. I think with this baby which I’m 36 wks I can count how many times we have had sex l. Just talk to him.

You could talk to your doctor for sure. Sometimes for me I find if I get dolled up a little and maybe take some sexy pictures and get feeling good about myself it makes it easier for me. Women sometimes need more mental stimulation. If you and your spouse are open and comfortable with it you could try watching porn or reading erotica. I know that’s not something all couples are comfortable with. But talk to your partner, maybe you can find something he does that helps you relax.
Ok glad someone else brought this up, I’m in the same boat. My husband and I have always been pretty sexual but now we have a 1 year old and I’m 14 weeks pregnant and I literally CANT bring myself to do it because it’s the only thing he ever wants to talk about. The more he brings it up the less I want to do it and it’s creating resentment. He can never accept I just don’t feel like it physically and the more he harps or tries to force it, the more emotionally detached I become. I hope it gets better.
I deal with this, and im pregnant with twins. Ive not had a sex drive since the beginning of pregnancy.
I completely lost mine with both my children. I explained to my SO that I just didn’t want it and it had nothing to do with him. He was understanding about it but you could always talk with your doctor and see if he/she has any suggestions
You don’t have to be in the mood to let him get some. Ijs… If you feel so bad let him get one.

It’s lasted my entire pregnancy. 36 weeks today. I just do it

Honestly each pregnancy is different and affects your hormones differently…my 1st n 3rd pregnancy I didnt want any part of intercourse we still did other stuff of course so we were both still getting satisfied I still felt bad though… get some lubes n let him get one every once n a while … and with my 2nd I wanted it all the time… nothing to worry about I think that’s just how it goes sometimes…
Same happened earlier in my pregnancy however i tried just making out with hubby. Kisses long and slow and that got me in the mood everytime. Dont stress mama its common it’ll come back…
I did with my 4th just lost my sex drive it’s normal my husband was very understanding he worked 6 am to 7pm 6 days a week but he knew I was tired and so wad he on his day off hed make it up to me not spending time with each other afyer kids went to bed we spent an hour or so doimg what we loved games movies just talking sometimes helped a lot and during day he would spend as much time playing with kids its really hard to balance it out sometimes but it’s ok mama its Normal I told my so if I’m not in mood theres porn lol
