Yes, after birth you tend to loose quite a bit. I am 5 1/2 months pp and loose alot everytime I brush.

Are you still taking prenatals? A lot of people don’t know you take them postpartum! I’m 2 1/2months pp and still take them- no hair loss yet!

I lost hair during and after last 2 pregnancies. I don’t remember this during 1st one but last 2 did .I also lost hair with my medical issues when younger before I had kids .my dr.told me make take my vitamins after the kids.

Thyroid can cause hair loss, med change, having a baby, take a prenatal

it’s Normal. and it sucks!!

I use biotin. Hair still falls out but not as much as it did before.

It’s normal postpartum. However if it is concerning, you can go to your doctor to check things out. Biotin, good nutrition and eating protein help with it coming back in.

Could be a thyroid problem.

There are a lot of causes for hair loss. It’s always best to ask your doctor. However, if you’ve recently had a baby then it’s normal. Just keep taking your vitamins. Biotin should help too

I lost hair after having my kids even while taking pre natal vitamins but I learnt it was due to low iron! I’m 7 years pp and still losing my hair because my body doesn’t absorb iron like a normal body would! Also thyroid issues can cause hair loss but losing hair after a baby is completely normal! If you feel like you need to know go get bloodwork done! You’ll learn there whether it’s due to a health reason or just a normality after having a baby!

I lost alot after my first…I used mane n tail shampoo & conditioner and it halted the hair loss…also take vitamins

Do you have a thyroid problem? My hair falls out and I have Graves Disease (overactive thyroid).

Go get you thyroid levels checked and make sure they do a thyroid antibodies test.

I lose a ton of hair in the shower and when I brush my hair I’m surprised I’m not bald
