I always have normal periods, always same type of flow and length in time. I started my period on Jan 2nd until jan 6th everything was normal from jan 7th until Jan 10th I didn’t bleed at all. (I was done until next month) and then the 11th, 12th and today I’ve been bleeding. Not enough to fill a pad or tampon. But its enough to have to have a panty liner. Its bright/dark red and I’m having some cramping too, is it still my period, or something I should see my doctor about?
Could you be pregnant?
Fluctuations in hormones can change your menstrual cycle without warning.
It could be a multitude of things, most nothing to worry about, or it could potentially be something.
Is there a possibility of pregnancy or are there any other symptoms that are concerning?
You should never be afraid to ask your doctor. If its enough to raise questions in your mind, its worth asking about… but it’s more than likely nothing to be concerned about
I just had the same thing!! Just going to see what happens for a few. Feel fine. Not too worried.
It sounds like ovulation. I bleed lightly mid cycle due to ovulation. I also have some cramps. I wouldn’t be concerned since it’s mid-cycle. I know when I ovulate because I track it with a testing device. It always aligns with mid-cycle bleeding/spotting.
Go to the doc cuz if you are pregnant sounds like you could be miscarrying but it could be different things so I would definitely go get checked
I am the one who submitted this question, I am 26, I have been pregnant before but i don’t recall this happening when I was pregnant with my daughter. My boyfriend and I are sexually active. I just find it weird my periods are always so normal.
I know when i ovulate and things like that because i track it on my phone through an app but even the tracker didnt have me ovulating when i started bleeding again
A phone app can’t tell you when you will personally ovulate though - only when its likely. You can in fact be ovulating. I would just let it go but ask the Dr if it happens again
This isn’t something that you should be asking people on FB. As an M.D., this is my advice. Go to an OB/GYN.
Are you taking drugs? You’re just 26? You look rough; about 50!
It was simply a question no need for any of the negative comments thank you.
