What causes kids to drool?

I have 3 kids but my youngest(13months) has been a teether since a month . She always wanted/still wants tochew on things, everything, and anything. Now I know it’s normal, and of course she is still cutting teeth so it isnt a bother right now. But with a 3 and 4 year old who like to color alot and learning activities I’m gonna want to start teaching her as soon as I can, so when do they grow out of putting everything in there mouth ? and I mean everything. Toys aren’t a problem and I keep an eye on her and keep things put up. I just want to know when they grow out of it or ways to correct it:pray::heart: thank you.

Around age two… Honestly, i have taken care of alot of children under the age of 3 and they usually don’t loose the urge to put everything in there mouth until around age two, that’s why they say any toys that is for children under the age of 2 shouldn’t be able to pass thru a toilet paper tube.

I’m sorry but they don’t until usually around 2-3 but some still do that’s why small toys have choking hazards.Babies just love putting everything in their mouths the only thing you can do is keep the baby away from anything harmful. They do have non toxic edible paint edible dough etc if its something you want to try as she gets a little bigger

Supervision and reminding. Also get her lead tested.

I always gave my babies a cold wet wash cloth to chew on. It is to big for them to swallow and it drapes nicrely over their hand. It was the only thing that seemed to sooth their gums
