What causes period symptoms but no period?

Hey moms, so I’m having all the symptoms of my period starting except the bleeding. I’m cramping having lower back pain and feel blah. Is this normal??

This happened to me recently. I didnt have a period for 6 months after my baby was born because I am breastfeeding and I had cramping for a month then got my period again for the first time in a long time.

or maybe the bleeding will come eventually
