I’ve been having pain in my arms for years—loss of grip and strength. I’ve had carpal tunnel surgery. It helped for a bit but never really helped. I’ve been to multiple doctors but just haven’t found one to really care enough to find the root of the problem. Well, now I have pain in my neck, shoulders, back, hips, and legs. I feel so tense when my legs and arms go randomly numb. When I have a busy day, I ache so bad a night it takes forever to get to sleep. I cry. The pain is so awful. I do have seven herniated disks in my back, but this is all over. Weather can make it worse as well as my period. Anyone else has a similar situation? Am I crazy?
Sounds like this… Google it
If you have herniated discs you probably have at least one pinched nerve… which can be excruciating. Also, my mom started with herniated discs & then soon after was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease & possibly fibromyalgia, which does in fact cause widespread numbness & what you’re describing. Get second & third opinions & don’t stop rallying for your own health!
Possible Fibromyalgia. More than likely it’s caused by the herniated disks pressing on the nerves.
Get into some Lyme and Bartonella groups here on FaceBook and pick their brains on this. Has anyone checked you for PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease)? You would want a specialist to do it.
Have an ANA blood test.I have similar pain and was diagnosed with Lupus and connected tissue disease.I hope you get some answers.Do you see a rheumatologist?
Or it is due to damned vertebrate in your neck. Generally c4,c5,c6 are I believe. But even after husband’s neck fusion surgery he still has those issues as well, and carpel tunnel issues. But possibly get that checked as well
Had very similar symptoms… mine turned out to be Fibromyalgia.
Have them look into fibromyalgia.
Have them check your vitamin D. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but once they realized my vitamin D was really low and started me on medication my pain went away in about 2 weeks. Good luck
I’ve got this pain and was told it’s nerve damage in my neck or spine
I had spinal fusion surgery after years of spinal injections & physical therapy…have you seen an orthopedic surgeon or a rheumatoligst? Some doctors won’t admit that THEY JUST DON’T KNOW. Don’t give up in your search for answers cause living in pain is AWFUL
I have fibromyalgia and it’s very possible it’s what you have. The pain can be unbearable at times. I hope you get answers.
My dad had to have a surgery back in January because a nerve was pressing down on a nerve in his neck and was severing it. His arms and legs went completely numb, and was almost to the point he was almost paralyzed. He had ACDF surgery, but definitely could be a nerve.
Have you had a test for nerves damage
I have fibromyalgia and it sounds like what you may have.
Cervical spine damage
I’d talk to a pain specialist, it may be compressed discs with pinched nerves but I’m no dr
I’d get checked for fibromyalgia…or Lupus…I have fibro and these are the symptoms I get as well as many other fibro people
CRPS its a nerve syndrome
Cervical Vertebrae/disc degeneration
Thyroid causes pain all throughout your body, mine is usually my legs and arms that hurt to the point of tears
I have fibromyalgia and sounds very similar
Don’t eat tomatoes, check out other food that cause pain or inflammation when eaten for immune type symptoms. Ask doctor about adding Vitamins D, B12, C Zinc, Tart Cherry pills or juice (natural pain relief), have same symptoms Don’t want to tell you diagnosis I have but I have more than one. Pain medication Don’t work and cause more problems. See your doctor. Check out your diet.
Neck, get an MRI done of your neck.
I would get and EMG nerve conduction study, may be thoracic outlet syndrome or a cervical dis issue. Good luck!
Try sports medicine rehab doc
Raw red tomatoes could be a problem.
