What do they do about diastis recti?

Hi! I had my third baby 6 months ago and because it was my second baby in two years I had pretty bad diastasis recti (abdominal separation). After having her I was at about 4 fingertips, I could basically stick my whole hand in there :cry: I’m happy to say I’ve shrunk it down to one fingertip but does anyone have any advice on how to completely close the gap? Even one fingertip leave me looking pregnant :woman_facepalming: Thanks!

Have you looked into Natalie Hodson’s program? She is a fitness coach and had a post partum and “mom bod” program that focuses on the diastasis recti

My midwife recommends planks. No sit ups or anything that “separates” your abdominals.

I don’t think it ever completely closes without surgery. I could be wrong. Been working out … youngest 4 … oldest 12. All 9-11 pounds.
