My 4 yr anniversary falls right before mother’s day so my SO booked a weekend motel trip for us and then I personally want to sleep in and have silence on mother’s day​:joy::joy::joy: So, my daughters father and his girlfriend are taking her for the day. If that’s something you’d like, maybe someone can watch the kids for a few hours?

I’m a single Mom with 2 boys (16 yo that is handicapped and a 6yo); it will be just another day for me. For stuff like that, they are clueless.
If I could, I’d love a little time so I can get my hair cute. It’s been 4 years since I’ve had that done. Maybe some help with housework without complaining.

Here are some ideas that I personally always enjoy the most; A date night at your favorite restaurant, a nice short trip for you and him or you and your girl friends, a bottle of your favorite perfume, a spa day, a nice afternoon at the beauty salon, A gift card for your favorite shoe store ( I love shoes but it doesn’t have to be shoes maybe you are more into something else… But you get the picture)

And I’m taking myself out I’m so over feeling neglected … self care is not selfish when done correctly it’s more selfish to not refill your own cup and be a grump to everyone :rofl:
