Outside on the womb. Usually on the fallopian tubes

It’s a pregnancy where the egg implants in your Fallopian tube. Unfortunately it’s not a viable pregnancy & results in losing that tube.

It’s an egg implanting “anywhere” outside the uterus. Usually within the tubes but not uncommon for implanting “anywhere”

Omgosh this page is getting ridiculous with some of the questions and answers :woman_facepalming:t3:

Ectopic pregnancy means you need medical attention and is fatal for the baby. If not treated it can be dangerous for the mother as well. I’m m sorry if your going through this.

You’re having a ectopic baby ?? :thinking::face_with_monocle::grin::beers:

An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside the main cavity of the uterus. An ectopic pregnancy most often occurs in a fallopian tube, which carries eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. This type of ectopic pregnancy is called a tubal pregnancy.

People saying google it like google always has the right answer. Google gets it wrong sometimes sometimes you have to spend more than 10seconds to find the answer :woman_shrugging:t6: maybe this person didn’t want to go through all that

I’ve had one of these, it was scary. The baby was growing Inside the fallopian tube. And I was bleeding internally because the tube was about to burst. These need to be usually operated on or the mother can bleed to death internally. Lucky mine was found right before that happened.

Mine ruptured I almost died.

When the first cells don’t move down into the womb. So grow in the wrong place and become life threatening for the woman. Only cure is surgery…

I had my tubes tied back in 1983. In 1987 I was having bad pain in my abdomen I went to a immediate care facility 2 times and since I had my tubes tied they didn’t give me a pregnancy test. A few days later the pain was so bad I went to the emergency room and they ran test and I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. They did surgery the next morning (mother’s day :cry:) Luckily I went in time. If I hadn’t went that night I would not be here today. I was bleeding internally. Thank God I survived :pray:

A pregnancy not viable because it is in the tubes( fallopian).

Ectopic pregnancy is outside the of uterus. Typically unviable but there are cases of babies surviving to viability and saving mom and baby via surgery.

My first pregnancy was ectopic, as the ER Dr said, my body passed it. Painful, but required no surgery.
