seeking advice and encouragement about to tubal.
So I am very nervous and scared as tomorrow morning I am going in to get my tubes tied and an ablation is done. I feel so horrible because I won’t be able to breastfeed my little on 24 hours. Please any momma that can help me out with courage and strength, possibly some stories of their recovery? This will be my first ever surgery, and I’m really nervous! Thanks so much!

I had a csection and tubal ligation at the same time. I breastfed right away and made it past a year!!

I had my tubes tied when i was 29 years old best thing i ever did. I did not breastfeed my daughter so they gave me pills to dry the milk up
I don’t know if it helps or not but I breastfed my son right after I had my gallbladder out and my doctor said it was fine!
It’s not bad . Your belly will hurt few days. Can’t lift a lot
Getting my tubes tied was a walk in the park. My ablation was special circumstances because the Dr that delivered my baby left after birth and I got an infection so I couldn’t tell you how a normal ablation goes. But I did still have periods. They were just lighter.
I had my tubes tied when I was in my early 30’s after two miscarriages and it was the best thing I ever did.
The only reason why you should not breastfeed after a surgery is if you take a prescription pain medication. I skipped the Rx and took tylenol for my pain and nursed within 3 hours of being discharged from the hospital as mine was a laparoscopic procedure so it was outpatient.
Do not tie them. Have them removed. No side effects, 100% effective, and prevents ovarian cancer.
