My granddaughter is Rylee Quin. The lee part for me and quin my moms maiden name. We used the grandmas names in all the grand children and great grand children

What’s your last name? It depends on how many syllables. If you have a short lady name like Smith, you would choose a name with more than one syllable.

I’m voting for Rylie Grace. My Mother’s name was Grace Alice. I always loved her name. Her Mother’s name was Julia Mahaila. She was called Haley.

How about one of your mom’s or grandma’s name my sister named my niece Lili and her dad wanted to name her Katherine for his mom but my sister thought it was to long so she just put K. as her middle name 
Twins run in my family, I always wanted twin girls named Riley Miranda and Rayann Marie. I ended up just having one daughter named Skyla Rayann. I do now have 2 three month old kittens, one of them is named Riley and his sister is Gemma.
Riley James. The first birth I was present for in nursing school was a girl and they named her Riley James.
Riley Rae (or however you wanna spell it) sounds pretty good.

If you use a middle name that starts with a vowel make sure her 3 initials don’t spell anything like RAM. Kids will notice and may call her that.

Anne was the first middle name I came up with. It just popped in my brain. But James is good too

Riley Elizabeth has a nice ring to it, it kinda just rolls off of your tongue 
and i may be a little partial to the Elizabeth name cause thats my daughters middle name, Meghan Elizabeth to be exact

Love all the suggestions, do have a question though; do you really NEED a middle name? I have 4 siblings and none of us have a middle name. However it is custom here that when you do give your children a middle name, you name them first name-name of godmother/father-name of other godparent. When it’s a girl, it’s godmother’s name first, with a boy, godfather’s name. Might also be a suggestion?

Best advice I ever received…sit in the living room or kitchen. Start yelling names towards the bedroom the child will have - because you will be yelling in that direction for 18 years. The right one will come to you. I struggled with deciding and this worked!

I always like the idea of something meaningful that will sound good through the ages. My daughter’s middle name is Elise after her great-grandmother. Go through your family names on both sides, even back to great-great-grandparents and see if you find a unique name for her middle name that you might like.
