What should I pack for vacation?

We leave Sunday for the beach…we’re renting a condo and will be there for a week. I’m a big over packer, but we have limited car space so I’m wanting to just take the essentials. Just wanting some ideas on what is considered essentials for a beach trip…how many sets of clothes, toiletries, etc.

Shorts and tanks are the best for the beach other than sun dresses. I live in Central Florida and it’s hot when you wake up by 7am

An outfit a day, plus 2 swim suits, I would take 2-3 sun dresses, normal toiletries, my makeup and hair straightener, sandals, flip flops, my beach towel and something appropriate to wear for bed,sun block, tanning lotion, sunglasses and extra hair ties

Shorts swim
Suit sundress

Take shorts 5 and tops 3-4 swim suit maybe 2, and sandles, underwear and normal toiletries. I always overpack also but I would want enough clothes just in case. And most beach condos have washer and dryer in them

Take sacks and baggies for wet items or leftover food items. A nightlight in case your rental doesn’t have them. Sunscreen.

If you have laundry options, 2 shorts, 4-5 undies, 2 tanks, a pair of pj pants, if your a fan of them, a hoodie, a swim suit…

If they have a washer and dryer I’d say 3 pairs of shorts and 4 mix and match tops, 1 or 2 sundresses. 2 bathing suits. 1 pair of capris for the evening and a light sweeter or pullover.

Just the essentials. We were to Florida and I just took 4 outfits. Can you get your hygiene products when you get there? That’s what I did

Baby powder, vinegar for the beach, the powder helps get sand off, vinegar for potential stings. I took a couple extra changes of clothes in addition to daily clothes, I recommend 2 swim suits if possible. If you want to do laundry there, wait until you get there to buy soap

Things that will roll up, one outfit per day, with extra top ( short/ long sleeve) swimsuit, undies. Deodorant, any special creams ( I brought for leg cramps) if washer, dryer available can wash about 3rd day

Clothes for a whole week sunscreen bathing suit a hoodie in case it gets chilly chargers for any electronics you taking and if you have young children things to keep them occupied

Most condos have a washer and dryer in them

Meds. Swim suit. Undies. 2 shorts, 2 pants, assorted shirts/tank tops. Plan on buying at least one shirt there.

I’d pack 3/4 outfits, 1 pair of jeans, a hoodie or light jacket, swimsuit and 2/3 pjs, plus bras/underwear. I’d wear tennis shoes and pack a pair of flip flops. Chargers. Toothbrush and toiletries (I’d even coordinate with the rest of the travel party and pack 1 bag of bathroom items for everyone to use - ex 1 toothpaste, one shampoo/conditioner, 1 body wash, 1 bottle of lotion, basic OTC medicine/ disposable razors, etc )

If there is a washer/dryer barely any clothes

Most condos have a washer and dryer so you don’t have to pack alot. I would make sure that everyone had enough underwear for each day but really dont need enough outfits for each day as you will most likely spend most of the time on the beach on bathing suits.

3/4 outfits if you have a laundry option. Pair of pants/hoody. 2 bathing suits if possible, beach towels. We brought a new pack of tooth brushes with us. Shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste/ any other bathroom items we got while there along with sand toys/boogie boards. We had no room to take those things home so we gave them away at the end of our trip. Make sure you have plenty of sun block.

Only you know what’s essential to you… what others might need, you might not.
You can always purchase things if you need. Condos usually have washer and dryers so no need to pack a ton of clothing.

Swimsuit
Swim cover
Outfit for everyday, or half it if you have laundry appliances there, just do a load half into vacation.
A hoodie just in case
Sunblock
A beach towel or 2
Electronics chargers
Travel bottles of toiletries or pick up $1 travel bottles when you arrive.
First aid kit/emergency meds (Epi pen, insulin, etc)

Depends on where you are going to the beach. If in Florida forget jacket, hoodie etc. it is really hot here and does not cool off at night. Few casual cool clothes, sun block, couple swimsuits, insect spray and down here I like the rash guard shirts, oh and sun hat

Depends on the beach.
Oregon… sweatshirts
California …a bikini
Location matters
Also,. Keep in mind you’re not going to space. The Beach has stores too

Please don’t do like everyone else and bring the kitchen sink…
