What to pack in my hospital bag?

I’m only 19 1/2 weeks so I still have half my pregnancy to go. But I would like some ideas on what to pack for me, the hubby, and baby for the hospital bag. I have some ideas on how I want to pack differently this time compared to last time, but I would also like to see how other mamas packed. Thanks!

Tons of snacks, cards water bottles for hubby. Bringing home outfit for baby. My husband brought the ps2 when we had our first.

Snacks, your favourite water bottle, comfortably sweats for after baby is born,

I’m due in 3 weeks I bought a travel kit with toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, I have a hair brush, dermoplast spray, nipple pads, pads in case I don’t like the hospital pads a bar of soap, a comfy outfit, nursing cover, cellphone charger, chapstick an for baby im bringing a few outfits so I can pick one to bring her home in, carseat, diaper bag necessities I know I won’t need but rather be prepared loll receiving blanket, burp rag

I packed :
For me : under clothes , dresses , my own body wash, toothbrush & toothpaste , my house shoes , and a robe …
A charger , some snacks , A gatorade , insurance card , breast pads (just in case), chapstick!!! and a hair tie.
For baby:
Clothes (I packed different sizes just in case), mittens , and body wash(I wanted her bathed in baby dove for her first bath) , Blankets , and of course her carseat.
And my boyfriend just packed some clothes , and his charger…
I also had my daughters stuff in her own bag . I would recommend taking a big bag or another bag to put all the stuff they give you at the Hospital in.

Comfy clothes for the hospital stay and the trip home. Clothes for baby, car seat obviously, blanket pillow charger. I take my iPhone to tv adapter. Clothes for hubby too. My hospital is good about Providing soaps shampoo so I don’t worry about that

I used my towel, socks, toiletries, my own blanket and chapstick. Also my going home outfit. For my son I had a few options of going home outfits in different sizes (p,n,0-3), multiple swaddles and blankets, socks and hats. Next time im bringing a flufdy robe, my boppy, more dermaplast amd an ipad/tablet

Hair ties!!! Chap stick snacks and shampoo conditioner and body wash was cloth pairs of clothes like sweats and s comfortable shirt

I pack comfortable clothes for myself, baby and husband. All hygiene products. My own blankets and pillows.

Chapstick, phone charger, giant panties, toothbrush, tooth paste, shampoo conditioner and something comfy to go home in. For baby, a going home outfit is generally all you will need

I packed way to much but having my own pillows and little blanket from home was nice also pads I hate hospital pads so good nice pads were nice to have

Hubby will need a pillow, socks, slippers and sleep pants. I got mine a pack of plain white shirts and 3 pj pants… mom will need pants that are lose fitting, nurses bras/ tanks. Socks and slippers, after birth walking is a must in the hospital, phone charge, mags and of course snacks and whatever else. Don’t forget toilet trees and granny panties if they’re not generous with the hospital kind. And of course giant pads… lol. Don’t forget baby’s clothes… pack a diaper bag… you’ll want receiving blankets for the car seat and one for the drive home. Going home outfit of course. They’ll provide diapers and hospital clothes… good luck. I just did all this Monday the 6th :heart::heart:

Phone charger and go home clothes. And extra bag for the freebies. Seriously you dont need so much. Call your hospital ask what you will need. My hospital sent me home with 2 weeks worth of diapers and so much more. You can get your baby dad to bring the carseat up when you are released

very high waisted underwear, you may not need them, but it’s good to have just in case, if something happens and you need a section, you will definately need them, I had an emergency section and was not prepared at all, afterwards I couldn’t wear anything below my belly button as it hurt way too much, plus if you wear anything low waisted it can cut into the incision

Anything that will make you more comfortable. Comfy jammies (nursing and csection friendly just in case), toiletries, etc. Boppy is a must. I packed a whole bag of diff size clothes and stuff for baby with options for pics and going home outfit. Obvi chargers and car seat are a must. My mom did have to get us some swaddlers and smaller newborn inserts for the carseat for her to be properly secured. Daddy needs entertainment and things for his comfort as well, and keep snacks in the car to bring in later bc they dont bring dad food and my hospital cafeteria was closed after 2 pm every day and he never wanted to leave us. Wish i had brought my body pillow.

Just had my 3rd baby 2 weeks ago and my #1 regret that I did not take was my own pillows! The hospital pillows were horrible

I packed much lighter with my second. The hospital really provided me everything I needed. I brought going home clothes for me and baby. Some jammies, tolitries (*important hair ties and chapstick) and my hubby’s clothes. All in 1 bag. Plus my boppy for nursing anddd my husband brought his ps4 :woman_shrugging:

Forget underwear leave space to Jack the hospitals disposable panties and pads. Like seriously those are must grab.
Tooth brush. Whatever u want baby to come home in. Clothes u wanna wear home. Socks. Shoes.
Phone charger. Phone. Chapstick. Breast pads.
Clothes for hubby too.
Pack some hair ties and a brush ur goin to want them puppies for sure.
And pillow and blanket for hubby bc hospital doesn’t always provide that for him only the mother in labor. Some hospitals do but some don’t so good to have
