My son is 5 and he does a good job and washing him self in the bath and shower.
My oldest kicked me out at 2 years old told me he had it. I waited by the door every night peaking thru the door crack. Hes 7 now. My baby I started gradually at 2 when he asked to play by himself but he still likes his hair washed. Both kids knew water safety before I agreed, set door guidelines, knew how to wash themselves, and have set rules plus a water line set. I’m really on standby with my oldest and still watch my youngest… It is really when they are ready make it safe for them start small till your comfortable trust is huge
My 6 year old he does well with his body but not so much his hair he has really long hair and it’s a struggle for him so we been learning how to properly take care of his hair by himself so we are getting close to solo bathing
