When did your daughter start wearing a bra?

When did your girls start wearing a training bra?

My daughter has one she 8

If she’s asking to wear a bra, get her one. If she isn’t, ask her if she’s interested? If she’s not, wait till she is.

My 10 year old doesn’t need them at all yet but she likes to wear her training bra to feel good about herself.

My 9 year old could really use one IMO but she’s going to be my free spirited wild child who goes through life letting her lady bits feel the breeze I believe :face_with_peeking_eye: and yes, unfortunately I mean up top and down there. She cannot be confined to undergarments and I don’t care to change her mind.

My daughter got her first one for her 10th birthday last year.

Beginning 6th grade… full A cup over the summer. Never did the training bras. You either needed one or you didn’t

My oldest was I believe 12 an my second daughter was probably 10 or 11 bc she’s built a bit differently then her sisters. My youngest started wearing one at 11. Most of the time I say it depends on how developed your child is as to wether they need to wear one yet or not. If it’s noticeable to you then I’d say yes they should bc then it’s noticeable to others as well. Unfortunately we notice the subtle changes in our kids before they do so if it’s looking quite obvious to you that yeah they need say an undershirt to cover up so it’s not as obvious to a stranger out in public then a training bra probably wouldn’t hurt. That’s kind of how I determined when to start putting them in a sports like bra an then a more adult like bra. Now my youngest daughter goes back an forth between the sports like bras and a regular bra just bc she is handicapped and doesn’t understand how a bra works fully ( we’re working on it though) and also bc of comfort too. Sometimes she doesn’t feel good and is more comfortable in the sports bra and then sometimes she’s good and is wearing a dress or a nice top that she feels comfortable wearing a regular bra. She likes regular bras when it’s hotter out bc they sweat an that type of bra doesn’t make her sweat as much in that area as a sports bra does.

8 for my oldest and it looks to be that for my youngest.

My daughter started asking for training bras this year she is 9 now , so we got her some nice ones from Walmart

The little tank looking bralets at 8 and now in a A cup at 10. Unfortunately she got blessed with the boobs like I did. I was hopeful she wouldn’t but her body is developing quick. Still no periods but she gets cramping. She said a few of her friends have started so she asked if she could have pads in case a friend needed them. So she keeps pads in her backpack.

My 16 year old was about 12 before she needed one. My now 13 year old had a training bra by 10 and started wearing an actual bra between 11 and 12. My niece is 10 and is wearing training bras.

i got my oldest a lil sports bra at 6 for coverage cause she hates wearing shirts and will walk around with just shorts on lol  shes 8 now. and she still wears them but doesn need them yet. only for coverage atm

I don’t have girls but i started at 7-8.

as soon as she starts to develop my daughter was 9

I was about 9 or 10…but I was a gymnast and had been wearing sports “bras” for awhile prior to that…

Mine is 10 and just started a few months ago. She kind of just blossomed out of no where.

Depends on growth in chest/breast

I started wearing a bra in 6th grade didn’t need one but wanted to feel grown up

Once her breasts became obvious

My daughter is 11 and been in a training sport’s bra for a year, but it’s time to move to a real one. I feel as though when you start to notice their breasts or nipples in a shirt it’s time for a training bra!

We just bought my 6.5 year old some, I’m noticing little bumps in that area at certain angles. Mainly just for weekends now. She doesn’t know we bought them yet, I’ll show her tonight when she’s home from school and she gets if she wants to give em a try

My 11yo has bras. She doesn’t wear them often. I’m not pushing it. I figure it’s provided when she wants to shell wear them.

When she needed one. My daughter started around 9 or 10…at first it was just nipping in some of her shirts, but by 10.5 she started developing.
