As soon as they’re potty trained it goes hand in hand. If they keep having crappy undies i would show them again, maybe add flushable wipes & nope lol

5 and still waiting. About to try putting peanut butter on the side of a bowl to see if that helps to practice.

My 4 year old still need helps

Depends on each child

My 3 year old still needs help

My 4 year old does everything but wipe his own butt.

It depends on the child really…my 3.5 year old can wipe and is pretty good but she has to have wipes…the girl will not wipe with toilet paper :woman_facepalming:t2::woman_shrugging:t2:

My 4 year old wipes her own butt. Sometimes I check or help her. Just depends. Lol

Until they’re ready. :upside_down_face: Some kiddos learn early other still need help until the age of 4.

5 and he still wont wipe his butt. He has a couple of times and he has shown me how it’s done, BUT he STILL wont do it.

2- 3 when toilet trained

My boys hated the poop stains in underware cause I crabbed about it. Keep babywipes on back of toilet.

As soon as he potty trained at 2. I taught him to keep wiping until it was clean. I never did it for him. But I supervised.

My six year old daughter will still ask occasionally. She has handled her business for a few years now but sometimes mom simply does it better. My son hasn’t asked for help since he was 4. Every child is different

My 2 YO does. But I triple check anyways lol

Mine is almost 3, he tries. But mommy still does it afterwards just in case :joy:

my 4 yo will still holler from the bathroom :joy:

My son turned 4 in March and I take the toilet paper away from the bathroom while he does his business or he will empty the roll :joy: when he’s done I give him a small amount to do himself once then I finish LOL it lets him have some independence while saving on some mess on his hands and my plumbing :joy:

My kids all wiped their butts when they were potty trained. So, 3-3.5

My 4 year old still yells “I’M DONE”

Wipe my butt please! …kids need help until theu can do the job right !

My oldest will be 5 tomorrow and she wipes herself most of the time, but she calls me in to make sure she got herself clean

My daughter is 7 and I still go and check after she’s done to make sure its all clean. I would say when the child can do it properly every time then they are good

My 4 year old tries so hard, but he still comes to me to make sure

My 3 year old tries but most of the time he yells MOM I POOPED SNAKES :snake::joy:

My 3 year old wipes and I swoop in to clean up the missed bits. 3-4 was around the age for the older two.

4 - 5 years old for both of mine.

Have them use wet wipes for the last grand finale wipe! Saves from having an itchy booty, and skid marks on their chonies. :100::ok_hand:

Mine is 4 and still learning how to wrap the paper around his hand correctly

I was the royal ass wiper till my youngest turned 5ish

My daughter is 5 and i still have to do it because she tries… but fails lol

3/4 years old. Tip for boys, keep the wipies around forever. Boys and tp don’t mix well. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::joy:
