My daughter is now 17 months. She is in this phase now where she is constantly takeing off her diaper, all the time…after like half a pee. she’s got a variety of words down so I’m wondering if maybe I can start potty training is this her way of telling me she’s ready? If so advice please cause my son was incredibly easy to potty train

It seems like she’s at least curious. I’d start and see how it goes.

My daughter is 17 months as well and does the exact same thing. I did introduce her to the potty and she has used it here and there if I place her on it. I personally think it’s the best time to do so. I won’t force her to sit there because I don’t want her to think it’s punishment. But I do encourage her to use it and I give her lots of praise when she does go on it which keeps her going back to use it lol. I have noticed too that when she poops she will even go sit on it with her diaper on then get up as if she went with out it on. I definitely think it’s worth a shot

Yes she could absolutely be ready, I trained my 13 year old when she was 15 months because she showed these signs, I trained her in one weekend (we didnt use pull ups, I put her in regular big girl panties… not the thick training panties either) they were a little big cause they didnt make them that small but it was so quick and easy.

My 16 almost 17 month old was doing the same, as well as patting her diaper and pointing to the bathroom, so I sat her on the regular potty and she went. Multiple times, so I bought her her own potty yesterday, and we bout to do the thing! Good luck, momma!

My oldest did same thing . I would start putting her on the potty every half hour she will potty train soon.
I also gave her a fruit snack every time she went in the potty . IT gave mine insentive to use the potty
Try it out see how shs does. Shes not liking the feel od wetness so she may be ready
Yes my daughter was like that. She is now 22 months. Knows how to potty I found it easier potty training a girl then a boy.
