Please post. When you were pregnant with your 2nd when did you stop working? I’m pregnant with my 2nd and due by the end of next month. I’m thinking to work until a week before my due but I have heard you deliver early with your second. I get 12 weeks of maternity leave only the first 6 weeks is paid which won’t happen until the baby is born.

Not everyone delivers early, but delivery is just usually faster since it’s your second. I would just work as long as you think you can handle or would like. If you feel unsure, ask your OBGYN.

I was induced with my first two and worked up until the day before my inductions. I had a desk job and had a small stool to put my feet up on so it wasn’t a big deal to go to work. I didn’t work when I was pregnant with my third.

If you feel well enough to continue, i would. You never know when youll deliver.

With my 2nd i wasnt working, but he didn’t come earlier than my first. With my 3rd i stopped working 2 weeks before my due date (i only did call outs after that), and she came on her due date.

My last day of work was a Friday I had my son 4 days later. I kept trying to go to work before I had him but they said no lol

I plan on working two weeks before my due date. I work nights and never get enough sleep. I want to take two weeks to get the house ready and get some rest before baby number 2 comes. I worked up until my due date with my first baby.
I went into labor the day before my due date with my 2nd. I went on leave 2 weeks before that bc of contractions occurring daily.
I worked up until I had my son. We had two days off for thanksgiving, I had him the day after. I called my job and let them know and was off for 6 weeks starting then
1st baby took off a month before
2nd baby 4 days before
3rd baby the day before
Worked u till the day I popped with my last 2 kids
I didn’t work with my 2nd but when I was pregnant with my 3rd I worked until I went into labor
I delivered early with my second so I work all the way up until labor. I would give yourself 2 weeks if possible to get ready for labor and everything <3
I was scheduled to be induced December 21st and started my leave on the 10th.
Just work up until you feel comfortable enough doing your job. only you know your body girl.
Mine actually didn’t come earlier. If she could have, she would’ve stayed up until the due date. I had to stop working to stay home with my oldest while my husband was away for basic training, but if I could’ve I would have worked until a week or even a few days before.
With my 2nd i worked until I went into labor at work at 38w2d. My 3rd I just had I stopped working at 37w and delivered at 39w.
I worked up to the same day I went into labor. But he was also 7 weeks early.
Work until you can’t anymore you know your body best!
I worked up until a week before I had my last baby. Id say if youre feeling okay than that should be fine
My 2nd came 3 1/2 weeks early and still weighed 7 lbs. I worked up until he was born. I was having contractions at work🤣 and my boss had still not had anyone to cover my desk. I tried to warn her🤷🏻♀️. But he came the next day at 4 pm🤣
First kid worked 2 days before having her
Second I wasn’t working
Third worked 3 days before having her
Forth worked 2 days before having him.
