How about swishing hydrogen peroxide? DO NOT SWALLOW IT

Go to the dentist immediately. Infections in the gums can cause preterm labor and the infection can spread to your throat, sinuses, and brain.

Ok, I know it’s weird but someone told me to try putting Nyquil on a q-tip and rubbing it around. They swear by it. I haven’t tried it. Also, I would definitely make a dentist appt or get to the ER. Gum Infections are dangerous!

Sounds like you need a cleaning

Definitely a dentist…

Go to the dentist and ask for help.

I had swollen gums for a few month while I was pregnant. I flossed n brushed twice everyday and swished with peroxide. Killed my pregnancy gingivitis in a few weeks.

Peppermint will num it just put it. The candy in side of mouth that hurls kinda suck on it but keep on it until it resolves dose wonders

Dentist to check for infection for sure.
Also get a soft bristle tooth brush. Brush your gums gently twice a day, even if it hurts like crazy. Been there, it sucks but. Pregnancy makes your gums uber sensitive unfortunately.

I take Tylenol liquid gels and bust them open and rub it on my gums… warning it’s bitter and nasty as all hell! But it numbs and works incredibly to give relief til you can see a dentist!

So, due to Prednisone I have an entire mouth of shit teeth. My favorite thing is a warm cup of Sleepytime tea with salt added. The chamomile and salt are anti-inflammatories plus the chamomile fights infection. The warmth relieves pain. I hold it in my mouth until it starts cooling down then spit.
A heating pad on your jaw and cheek helps too and my husband swears by clove oil.

Oil pulling every day reduces inflammation.

You should see a dentist but unfortunately swollen gums during pregnancy can be normal.

Salt and clove oil get at cvs…got the same thing…did get antibiotic from dentist

Rub NyQuil on your gums

Jasmine green tea. I have a cold sensitivity so it has to be hot but it works iced too (husband has hot sensitivity)

Mine swelled and bleed bad dentist suggested the saltwater swish and to switch a soft tooth brush.

Swish warm epsom salt for a week twice a day

Swish hydrogen peroxide a couple times a day. It oxides the gums and kill the infection

I literally just went through this because I had to have 2 root canals the ONLY thing that helped was antibiotics . Ice pack did help for maybe 20 min at a time but literally after I got antibiotics in me I was better .

I had the same thing back in December and was like that for 2 weeks, dentist couldn’t do nothing about it other than a quick check and told me it’s pregnancy gingivitis ( yup those were his words) so pretty much use cough drops and brush you teeth 3 times with a baby toothbrush until the gums aren’t swollen and you throat will clear up

Swish salt water or mouth wash every few hours. This stuff will help with any pain or agitation anywhere in your mouth. Gums, teeth and it works INSTANTLY

Gargle with warm salt water. Get a new soft tooth brush after each use put it in a cup of salt water . It will keep brush soft and stop bacteria from growing making it worse. Peroxide and mouth wash will spread it. Sorry ladies it is the herpes virus not the sex one. You usually get it if you have gone out to eat at a restaurant that someone didn’t wash their hand. Stress and hormonal changes can spread it. It is a virus that is why mouth wash and peroxide spread it will make it feel good for seconds. Cause it is burning outside edges. Would be great if it wss bacteria. Stay away from sugar drinks acidic drinks and foods spicy foods too. You are burning and open sore. Can you take Vitamin Lysine when pregnant ask doctor? It has to run corse. There is a pill for it but it is not all that great to take not pregnant you can ask doctor for it. It is pill they give you for cold sores, canker sores and herpes virus they usually only give you 3 or 4 at a time very strong.

A hot pack / go to a dentist it sounds like a abcess

I have some great advice for you. Stop getting medical advice from people who have no medical qualifications and go see your doctor.

Gargle 2 parts what 1 part peroxide

Get to a doctor. Could be infected. If that infection gets in bloodstream, you could die. No joke. Very serious

One drop of lavender essential oil in chamomile tea and then 1 teaspoon of raw coconut oil to rub on your gums.

Definitely go see a dr. I knew someone in her twenties who was in icu and almost died due to infection/abscess in her mouth.

Extra Hormones from pragnacey or birth control can make you’re gums swell badly if you need even a little bit of a professional dental cleaning. I get this take some Advil for swelling and go visit a dentist lots of them can get you in right away if you are in pain they can also rule out anything more urgent.

Coconut oil. Swish for 15-20 min twice a day. Make sure you spit out all of it/ don’t swallow! And then rinse with water

Gargle apple cider vinegar with the mother or listerine 4x a day

I had this problem too with my pregnancy nothing helped except I got sensodyne toothpaste the purple one that says rapid relief and the dentist gave me prescription mouthwash (chlorhexidine) and those combined worked miracles

Diluted clove oil and a dentist visit

Research Ludwig Angina.

Go to the dentist. I had to with my second child. Not fun. But then the dentist isn’t supposed to be. Good luck.

I can say green advil is the best for tooth pain but im pretty sure your not suppose to take it during pregnancy but if you call the number for adult Alberta works they might be able to help with cost if you cant afford the dentist😀
