I’ve been trying for a baby with my boyfriend! Every time we do I seem to start my period a few DAYS after we have sex. Last day we had sex was the 21st, I’m not due for my period until the 30th but started today “24th” This isn’t the first time. It doesn’t happen every time after sex but at least once a month it does. I’ll start to bleed for a few days then stop and get my normal period when it’s time. The blood today is brown and light spotting. Any ideas?

Brown blood is just old blood that hasn’t came out . probably from previous periods

It happens to me 2, it always has tho. If this is something new then your should deff talk to your doc about it
This happens to me sometimes. Pretty sure its because youve orgasmed and it cleans the uterus lining. I’ve read before to try and stop periods early to have sex and it brings it on to end quicker so possibly something to do with that.
You need to talk to your doc. This happened to me and there were several reasons for why it was happening and we needed to do testing and exams to figure it out. I also bled throughout my pregnancy and that added even more reasons so best to talk to your doc.

It could be anything to nothing at all.

Could be polyps as well. But best to go get an exam from your doctor to be sure.
When that was happening to me (not at all to scare you) I had abnormal cells on my cervix which ended up being stage 1 cervical cancer. Definitely go see your gyno and get a pap done! Just to rule it out if anything. In the end I’m perfectly fine, I had a few biopsies and eventually a surgery to remove the affected tissues.

Spotting after sex should definitely be discussed with obgyn as sometimes it can be a sign something is going on, good luck!
could be inflammation in the cervix or an unknown infection so go to the gyn and get an exam
Get it checked out, especially if it’s new. It could just be that you’re being a bit rough

Could be pcos (polycystic ovaries syndrome) or old blood from last Period and your body is clearing ready for your new period to start if your doing it just before your period is due, or could be pregnancy or it could be nothing but check with your Dr xx

Did you see if you have a fibroid?
Go doctors. I had abnormal cells and hpv last Yr. Not cancerous thankfully but I get same.
I’d talk to your obgyn or go to a Felicity center and be checked 
Definitely see a doctor. One thing that COULD be happening is your cervix is open (or at least more so than normal) during your cycle so it could be prepping for that and him hitting it. I 100% suggest a Dr visit though
This happened to me a couple of times. I went to see the Dr but nothing showed up on my labs or exam.

Have you had an STI/STD screen. Hope you get it sorted definitely speak to a health professional about this.
Sometimes with some women periods are whack. And this happens. Hormones… Sex has nothing to do with it.

Have alot of sex right after your period
I start mine every time I get into a fight with my son’s dad. If it’s any where close to my period time I’d start. I wasn’t supposed to have mine it was forced it only lasted a couple days
Go see a dr. I had a similar issue and come to find out my dear (ex) husband had given me an STI.

Same thing happens to me but only when my period is a few days away. I had a hard time getting pregnant with both my kids and had miscarriages too. One thing that really helped me my last successful pregnancy was ovulation strips you can get them on Amazon. That way you can narrow down your ovulation day and try then, your ovulation day shouldn’t be close to getting your period it should be more in the middle of your cycle. Still seeing the doctor won’t be a bad idea if you have doubts
This happens to me, especially when I’m having intense sex. In my case it was just polyps, harmless. My GYN simply removes them during a check up.
Sex also triggers mine if and only if it is a day or two away

Go see a Dr. When it happened to me I had fibroids.
To get pregnant you should be having sex sooner. About a week after your period ends is when you ovulate so you should be having sex within the first week after your period. But that’s also something you should get checked out for sure.
See a Dr! Same happened to someone close to me. She had cervical cancer. Not saying you do, but you need to get checked!

Get checked out for abnormal bleeding. Have you had a pap smear recently, if not definitely get one done.
That happened with me every time I was sexually active i would start bleeding. I went to the doctor and talked about my birth control, I had the nexplanon implant in my arm. He told me a lot of women had the same symptoms as me while on it. I don’t know if you’re on birth control just sharing my experience. I have since removed the implant and have had no remaining issues with this!

It’s old blood… and orgasms cause the uterus to contract. May also be cervix bleeding but not coming out until a few days after.

Get the Flo App. It lets you know when your chances of getting pregnant are. Chances are lower when it’s close to your time of the time and higher after your cycle is done
Happens to me all the time. I don’t actually get proper periods. Only once a month after we’ve had sex a bit of brown blood. Doctor told me it’s nothing to worry about
Please go to the doctor and get checked for PID. An antibiotic would clear that up.

You’re not a Premenstrual adolescent so count out your 30-28 day menstral start day and have sex on the 12-18 day anyway that you’d like just make it memorable for the both of you.
If you still getting your period after the bleeding, seems like 2 different things. Go to your doctor or your OBGYM.

It happens to me when I’m close to my period. Also if I just get off it restarts. Or if sex during my period it gets worse.
Having an orgasm can cause your cervix to dilate. This creates a vacuum that can pull the menstrual blood down.

Maybe he is hitting your cervix during sex. I would ask your ob to make sure nothing else is going on.

It’s likely a polyp. It might bleed from sex. I had that for months, but I thought it was menopause. A pretty simple procedure to take it off

Have you done ovulation tests so you can check when your ovulating .
This happened to me OFTEN while we were tryinh. I downloaded the Ovia flow app and tracked my period, my moods, how I felt physically everyday. It told me my most fertile days in a month and we’d bang like bunnies that whole week. Took about 5 months, but I’m 14 weeks pregnant with our little girl!!

If I have sex too close to my period than yes my my period either starts that night or the following day . I’ve always been like that
I have endometriosis and this is what I always used to do
It could be a cervical polyp. Get a pap. Pretty much always benign. It can also prevent pregnancy.
