It’s all up to you and how responsible you think he is and if he could handle it if you trust him and think he will be safe then that’s fine, in the end you’re his mum no one else we all make decisions for our children that we sometimes let get over our heads and we end up wandering if we were right or wrong well there is no rule book on how to be a mum so not every mum is perfect 
don’t beat yourself up over it he’s legally an adult so

I understand how you feel, my son is 18. I found gummy’s in his room when he wasn’t home. I took them and hid them. 
Afterwards, he asked me if I took something out of his room, lol. I gave it some thought and gave them back. I told him I wasn’t happy and to please take them at home not when your gonna be driving. It was hard for me to do, but after all he’s 18…

I think this is awesome. He has communicated to you, his mom, that he wants to try something. You guys are so close and comfortable that if he is wanting to try something and you are willing to do that…. Idk id rather my kids be open and honest with me and try something for the first time with me and not with other people somewhere else. To me this is mom of the year type shit! Way to go! Why would you want to introduce him or open a dangerous door to something you dont know if he could handle? Why would you want to bring any form of harm to your son. You know, most people, especially teens who become successful adults, actually stay away from crap like that. Dont you want that for your son instead?

Not a bad mom, just make sure he doesn’t over do it. You can always eat more but can’t take away what was already eaten. Edibles can be rough.

I’ve always told my kids that if they wish to try drugs to try them at home where they are safe.
There will be no judgement from me, but I will be here to keep an eye on them in case something goes wrong (reaction/bad trip)

Is he still in high-school? If not then let him buy them himself and if he is then I would def say no. If he’s truly that interested and he’s now an “adult” then he can make that decision on his own. I personally am not on board with this craze that everyone should just accept Marijuana or edibles.
