Anyone else have a high risk pregnancy with twins? I’m 14 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins, I was told I’m high risk for preterm labor as my son 9 years ago was born at 34 weeks and apparently my uterus isn’t that great. I’ve been prescribed progesterone suppositories to take daily for the remainder of my pregnancy. Anyone else have to do this? Any advice? I cannot get over the cost $600 a month for these. TIA

All pregnancies of multiples is considered high risk. It’s uncommon for them to go full term. Paired with you having gone into preterm labor in a previous pregnancy, it makes sense.
Will your insurance not cover it? I’ve heard about ‘GoodRX’ but not sure if they’re worth it.
Unless you have amazing insurance I think all women should apply for medicaid. It is a life saver if approved. Not all women will qualify⁷ but single women and low income families will benefit greatly. Medicaid has been expanded to cover not only low income women but women that make more than the federal poverty level. Pregnancy is considered medically needy and are expedited to get approved faster.
