Did anyone give birth while they were sick? I don’t know how it differs and what will happen

I had flu while in labour. That was horrible. Thank God I had nurses to help me look after my baby.
I was vomiting while giving birth 
. It was fine.

Yes they made me wear a mask while laboring because I had a blazing fever it was the worst and this wasn’t during covid and I was being induced it sucked
