So this isn’t baby or mommy related. Have any of you ever had to deal with an enlarged uterus? My OB discovered I have an enlarged uterus and it’s enlarged to like 10-12 weeks pregnant but I’m not pregnant. I had an ultrasound and they are trying to figure out what’s going on. I just don’t know what to expect. They have been concerned with how heavy my periods are and how big the clots are. Anyone ever experienced this?

Ultrasound will show it. More likely Fibroids
It could be anything. Like, really anything. Some benign to something serious. As hard as it is right now, try to refocus on anything else. Wait for them to give you an answer. If you get an answer you don’t understand, ask for more information. If they can’t find an answer, keep looking.
More than likely it’s not serious. So, focus on a hobbie, your family, work, Netflix series, books, anything. One day at a time. 
There’s quite a few reasons but here’s a few of the main reasons :
Uterine fibroids
adenomyosis
Endometriosis
Polycystic ovarian syndrome aka PCOS
Tumors
Cancer
Infection
HPV (human papilloma virus)
There’s a lot of reasons for it be happening. I also have heavy prolonged periods that are painful at times. So far I’ve found out that I have pcos. Will find out more once we do my surgery because I have to be sedated to get a Pap smear done and also cause he wants to do biopsies from my cervix and uterus so once that happens we will know more. They will most likely do an ultrasound on you externally and vaginally just to get a good look at the uterus ovaries cervix etc. they will also most likely do an exam vaginally.
