Anyone have a healthy pregnancy with Chron's disease?

I’m 37 with Crohn’s disease & I just found out I’m pregnant… my son was a preemie & I lost one about 13 years ago… I know I’m high risk but has anyone else given birth to a healthy baby after losing one at the same age as me & with a chronic illness?

You lost one as a miscarriage or a full term loss?

I have Crohn’s and had my son at 37 (I was diagnosed with Crohn’s at 21). He was healthy and my pregnancy was the best 9 months since I was diagnosed. I had a miscarriage after my son and never had another child. Also during my pregnancy I didn’t take my medication. My doctor didn’t recommend it but I didn’t see enough information about the effects of the medicine on the baby. Sending positive thoughts to you and your family.

I had a healthy pregnancy pre diagnose at 19, I miscarried at 25 unfortunately 9 months after diagnose (on medication), and now have a healthy 1 year old (had him at 27 no medication)

A friend of mine has uc and endometriosis and had a regular pregnancy and healthy baby girl to show for it.

It is possible!

Good luck mama
