So me and my Fiancé want to start trying for a our last baby I’ve been on the depo shot since June of 2022 I haven’t had it since April 2023 I I’ve been hearing horror stories of how people can’t get pregnant after being on it I just want some positive stories!!!

I was on the depo shot for 3 years. It took over a year for me to have my second baby and she’s almost 6 years old.
It took me a year to get a cycle after stopping it and 2 years to get pregnant.

The positive stories will be rare. That shot effs the system up hard-core.

It took a year after quitting to get pregnant. It didn’t stick and it took me 2 months to get pregnant again.
It’s different with everyone. I’ve heard as early as a few months to years of not being able to get pregnant. Keep trying. You weren’t on it long. I’ve been on it for more than 7 years. Don’t plan on getting off it even though I’m fixed.

I was told by a Dr he wouldn’t even consider me trying for one year after ending DEPO. Exactly one year after DEPO, I had my first normal cycle and was immediately pregnant for my daughter.
