Anyones baby kick their ribsin the 3rd trimester?

I know babies usually kick and get lodged under the ribs at around 30+wks but has anyone experienced your baby kicking your ribs during your second trimester? Since yesterday I feel like as if my baby is kicking my left side of my ribs and it hurts but I keep thinking she’s too small. I’m 19wks and idk if I should be concerned. It started 2 nights ago, all day yesterday and all day today. I haven’t gotten any sleep the last 2 nights. She doesn’t seem to want to budge from that spot which is hard to move around and I get out of breath easily. I feel like this can’t be normal she’s too small right?

I would think she’s too small but I felt some rib pain at 25 weeks and thought that might be abnormal also. Maybe she’s just a big baby or you’re further along than you think?

Yes!! At my 18 week appointment I was having this issue. The doc said its because he is so far back. My placenta is I’m front of him, but I think its normal!! I’m currently close to 30 and still having rib pains on the right side! I did w my first kiddo too.

A lot depends on having an anterior or posterior placenta as to what you can feel …
My anterior placenta baby loved my ribs from early early on, was the only place i could really feel him

Not to scare you. But “small” or not, babies have been able to break ribs before

Try pushing on your stomach a little. Might reposition the baby. That helped me

My second baby stayed under the left rib the whole pregnancy, some of NY ribs still stick out from it. And yes it hurt the whole time…

At 19 week would be to small. I’m 22 and baby is still to small and lays across mid even upward shed not reach ribs yet. Under rib could possibly be gall bladder pain or acid reflux that can be pressure and painful.
