Has anyone’s little one had hernia surgery? My little guy (6) has a ventral hernia and is going to have it repaired in the next month or so. He’s had 2 ear surgeries, but I’m more nervous about this one.

My youngest had umbilical and testicle hernia repair at 2 years old. It definitely made me nervous but he’s now 5 and it hasn’t come back.
My oldest daughter had one of her belly button at 6 months old. It healed fast. Just keep it clean.
My youngest who is now 17 years old had it done (belly button) when he was 5 years old. Besides not wanting to eat much at first, he was perfectly fine and has had no complications since!
My Son had one at 12 that’s a bit older but he was fine
