Anyone’s newborns have knots on the back of their head? 5th baby and I’ve never seen this before. There are 3. One is larger than the other 2. (About the size of my pinky tip) she has too much hair to try to get a picture. I don’t think they’d show up anyway. Just curious!

My grandson had them. He had 2. His mom was nervous and thought he maybhave fell so she took him to the doctor. They said it’s nothing and eventually they will go away… Basically they’re just as clueless as we are
Our newborn has what kinda felt like the size of BBs on his head in one spot and it doesn’t bother him but you could just feel it and we asked the pediatrician and he said it’s just leftover cartilage while the skull is fusing so nothing to be concerned about and it’ll go away
Newborns have fontanelles(soft spots) throughout their head, they’re spaces between the skull bones where the bones have yet to fully form. Typically the larger soft spot is at the top of the head and the smaller ones towards the back. Not sure if that’s what you’re describing, but I’d bring it to the attention of baby’s pediatrician.
