Are these good shows for kids?

Do you think Barney and Teletubbies are decent quality shows for a 3 year old? We plan to introduce some screen time then and I like that these shows incorporate nonfiction. What are your thoughts?

I grew up on Barney, so I love Barney. I don’t know much about teletubies but I’m sure they are just fine. I will always love Sesame Street. We liked Daniel Tiger, Little Einsteins and Sid the Science kid too when my daughter was little. There’s a ton of adorable and educational shows out there for kids.

My 3yr old loooooves teletubbies, but i dont very much because the teletubbies themselves dont talk very much nor do they use proper words which is no help to encourage my speech delayed boy to talk…

Shows like blippi or bluey are fantastic, encouraging and educational

I would say Not teletubbies, they teach bad talking techniques as they don’t talk properly. Miss Rachel videos have proven to be so educational it has taught my daughter only 1 and half yr old to say so many words and sing many songs and also actions and some sign language. Barney wouldn’t be to bad I don’t think but I’d go for the more educational and fun stuff

Daniel tigers neighbourhood is really good for kids they talk about how to deal with your emotions etc. My whole family loves watching “Bluey” :joy: would also recommend Bear in the big blue house, Ben and Holly, YouTube has some great learning videos and songs also.

My son loves blippi, Ms Rachel & meeka! He sometimes will watch Elmo also!

My daughter loves bubble guppies, back to the classic and baby Einstein

Teletubbies freaks me out, I didn’t watch it as a kid and have barely let my son watch it. I think barney is okay, we’ve been watching a lot of Daniel tiger

Teletubbies im going to be honest I was creeped out by them when I was younger lol. Barney I loved him. I also use to watch Gullah Gullah island which I still do at times and got no shame for it neither lol. so many more shows you guys can watch. Go to the public broadcasting station for kids aka PBS kids. Nick Jr. My son LOVED Dora, go Diego go, Daniel tiger, little Einstein, Sid the science kid (I actually loved that one too lol), bubble guppies, Franklin, and paw patrol. There’s a lot more he loved but I cannot for the life of me remember what they’re called anymore lol. I’ve heard amazing things about bluey and ms.rachel from friends who have little ones younger than 5.

Barney is beautiful! Great lessons about age appropriate things. I absolutely loved it and so did my kids.
Teletubies are strange.
Try bluey, blippi, miss Rachel and Daniel Tiger.

Bear in the big blue house, and word party where big hits for my son

I love Barney even as an adult. The teletubbies I could never allow myself to let my kids watch that show. One of cousins watched teletubbies as a kid and it’s like someone on drugs. Baby Einstein is a good show, caillou as well

Ms Rachel is amazing, she does get annoying but she teaches so much

Octonauts, Dragon Tales, Bear in the Big Blue House, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Bear, and Bluey are all good ones that have good lessons and are entertaining for the littles.
