Iâve always loved the name Lyla Grace. I wanted to name my daughter that but my ex was against it.

Whatever you decide please understand your kid will be stuck with that name forever. Donât pick something so off the wall your kid gets beat up. Plus if they have to spell it repeatedly throughout their life they will hate it.

I always love the name Aubree NicoleâŠbut my daughterâs dad didnât like Aubree so my girls are Aliyah Marie and Rylee Nicole.
I have two granddaughters-Elina Maddison and Natalie Sienna. My great grandaughter is Auley Ahanna. Ahanna means shine!!!

Our daughterâs names were biblical, Candace and Rachael. Middle name Leigh is in tribute to my fatherâs middle name Lee and Elizabeth Is also Biblical. The granddaughtersâ names are combinations of names. Maleigha for âmy Leighâ for mother and grandfather, a was added to sound lyrical, whose middle name is Rheann for her aunts Rachael and Annette, my husbandâs sister. Kayleigh because my middle name is Kay and her auntâs middle name is Leigh, Elizabeth for mom. Zoey which in Hebrew means something like Godâs gift of Life. Her middle name is Elianna for my great Aunt Elida and aunt Annette.

i disagree about waiting. i decided to wait for a name to come to me when i saw my baby girl but there was no name beautiful enough for her 
she was baby no name till the day we left the hospital and even then i ended up not happy with my decision i felt rushed, and made sure i had names ready for my next babes.

We were waiting to meet our baby before choosing the name. We couldnât decide right away so we didnât name her for two weeks after taking her home. The hospital kept trying to tell me that I couldnât take the baby home if I hadnât made it but I knew that they Didnât know what they were talking about, you do not have to name your baby before you take it home
In our family we name for the first initial of family members who have died. Our oldest was Ayla Brooke for Grandpa Al and grandpa Bernie. Maybe honoring a relative can help you narrow it down and have a personal connection with your the name. Ayla was also the name of a character in our favorite book, Clan of the Cave Bear.
We picked the name Sophia Isabel right after we found out we were having a girl. Then she ended up being born 7 weeks early and then a NICU doctor asked us her name and why we chose it. Gave us a crazy look because we just liked the name and randomly picked it in about 20 minutes. I think he was expecting some elaborate story. I guess a lot of parents change the name they chose when they end up having preemie/nicu babies. Usually to something related to miracle/blessing/strength/fighter type names. While my daughter did fight hard to grow and live(she had multiple complications related to her IUGR and being a low birth weight preemie(1335g)) during her 5 weeks in the nicu and after. We loved the name we originally chose and decided to keep it because it just fit her.

I had my baby girl 3 weeks ago. We couldnât even decide on a name until after she was born. She was almost a day old when we decided to name our new baby. My partner was holding her and said how about June. I said yes to naming her June. It suit her in so many ways. So no need to rush looking to name your baby. Sometimes just looking at your baby after itâs born you just know what your baby should be named.
