What family planning did you use after taking off your depo and while waiting for your period to start again? Can you share it with me? My depo was expired feb2 and still i havent my period. I need to take some family planning (pills or rather condom) cause I dont want to be preggy.
P.s Im a pure breastfeed mom.
Period can take up to a year to come back after depo.
I didn’t get my period till a year after I got the shot…I had 1 shot that’s it I never went back
When breastfeeding without any bc it took me 5 months for my period to return. When I wasn’t breastfeeding and with one shot it took 3 months for my period to return from the time it expired. Add up all of that and I could see your period taking some time to return. I would say up to a year or longer if you’re still breastfeeding.
Could be a very long time
My youngest is 20 month and I got my period back when she was 14 months. I am still nursing
